Everytime when I see someone mentioning the XD-7, it was just being referred as the world's first multimode SLR while information on the great XK camera was so scarce that as if Minolta wants to shy away from others. Although I understand these two were great cameras of yesteryears but I don't totally write off them as a perfect used entry cameras. I've had an XD-11 for 20 years and don't use it as often as I should. I've misplaced the manual for it and also for the Sunpak 3600 Zoom flash and remote sensor I use with it. If anyone has these, please contact me.8. From : Yavuz S yilmaz (ysyilmaz@hotmail.com)

Hello! Thank you for the great site! I just purchased a Minolta XD II and several lenses. Shortly thereafter I purchased a Autowinder D from an internet auction. The winder is in great shape but the previous owner left the batteries in it overlong and some damage was apparently caused to the electronics and switch inside. I've removed the screws trying to get to inseide to clean it but there seems to be more to it than just removing the screws. Does anyone have any experience or information that they might share on how to dis-assemble this unit? Many thanks in advance! Fred
