The earlier posting was written in Mandarin and may not display very well if you do not have a Chinese Language kit installed in your system, it reads as: "... I am from China, I wish to find out some information pertaining to Minolta XD-7 SLR camera; does anyone wish to dispose his camera ? How much would that cost ? I have only currency in China to trade. Further, I wish to acquire some Minolta lenses such as MD 50mm f/1.4 and MD 100mm f/2.8 and MD 100mm f/4.0 Macro - if you have any of of these lenses and wish to dispose them, please let me know. Currently, I am using two automatic Minolta SLR, a Minolta A9 & A7 each but I love to own a classic XD-7 body but it is extremely hard to locate any unit in fine, used condition within mainland China and that is why I attempted a few times at the various Message Boards to enquire. Or in any case IF you have any information pertaining to wherebout I can get one of these units, Please don't hesitate to contact me using this email address: 62228@sohu.com Thank You ..."

I must commend you on an excellent site. You mention that you will be creating an X700 section to this site. As a new owner of an X700 system I could use the information and suggestions. Hope you will consider my request. Regards, Grant Miles

Can anyone explain what are the differences between a XD-5 and XD-7 ? Some of these sites in this malaysian photo site are just beautiful and very informative, I wish there are more sites like this on the Net. WS, CA.

Yes. We have a new Message Board in php instead of the old one that used MSQL. I didn't realize it can be so difficult and tedious to locate something specific within all messages posted. I think the "search" function is badly missed here and thus we have to redesign this section with an addition of a new Search Function. Hope this can ease off some of your frustration. Enjoy !
