Nikon F2 Series Professional SLR camera Models

My f2 flash sync is off.
The flash fires after the shutter closes.
Any way to solve this problem other then getting
it reconditioned at over $100.
I have done a number of repairs interally
but not sure where to start on this one.

I have a Nikon F2/AS, and I have that automatic appature adjustment ring (DS-12) that runs between the lens and the body.

Question, when I'm plugging my flash sync cord into the body my flash works, but when I attach my Ds-12, and then plug in my sync cord to the sync on the Ds-12 the flash doesn't work. Does anybody have any ideas as to why this is happening??? And how can I fix this problem??? Please advise.

hey yah, since a large chunk of my work is b+w, i am at my happiest with my old chrome f2s photomic, clic clic clic clickety click. If anyone out there is wanting to use a manual camera with film I cant recomend them highly enough, tough, balanced, ergonomic and dare i say friendly.
