There is a chance that I can repair your DP-12, if the chassis is not damaged. I will contact you privately.

Hi Joze,

Polaroid film backs are simple to use :

- Put the Polaroid packet of film into the carrier

- Take a shot

- Pull one film out using the tab that's protruding

- Wait a couple of minutes and open the Polaroid film to see the image.

Please send me your PDF file for the Nikon F2AS. I have three F2's (one with a DP-1 and two with DP-12)and just dropped on of them and broke the AS, DP-12 metering head beyond repair. The body of the camera works - with no issues. Does anyone know where I can purchase a DP-12 for a reasonable price. I live in Arizona, USA. I also have an inexpensive D40X but still love film much more.
Thanks DD

Hello Mr. Wong, you have been very helpful to me and I am grateful. I took my Nikon F to the service technician near me and he indicated that he has never seen anything quite like this before. Specifically, the match needle appears sometimes, when the lens is removed from the body and immediately put back on and quickly rotated from f5.6 to f16 or f22 (depending on the objective in question). If, however, that is not done, the needle remains invisible through the viewfinder.

He told me this is not worth fixing. I am devistated. The only time I ever felt so bad prior to this was when my dog, Little Wolf, escaped from the back of our double wide in Galveston back in 1967.

Do you offer repair services? Please advise, I need help soon.

Always faithful. LPC

I inherited a wonderful series of F2 lenses from my father in the 1980's,and a number of professional Nikon accessories to go with them (motor drives, flashes, etc).

The lenses include the following: Nikkor 55mm 1:1.2, Nikkor 28mm 1:2, Nikkor 105mm 1:2.5, Micro-Nikkor P.C Auto 1:3.6 f=55mm. There are a couple of other lenses as well packed in boxes, including an architectural lens and 500mm Mirror lens.

The F2 body of the F2SB Photomic is not in great shape. I was wondering if these lenses can be used on any digital bodies that are currently on the market, possibly with a lens adaptor for the body? I have always been told that the most important and expensive parts of a camera are its lenses.

Ideally I would like to find a good digital body that will take my old lenses or as a last resort, find a reliable market for the items I do have, so that I can buy a good replacement camera.

Any help in these matters would be greatly appreciated!

Sebastian Stock
