Oliver: The "MD-12" is actually a motor drive for the Nikon FM series models. The MD-2 is the high speed winder for the F2, so I would assume yours is a MD-12, you can try a next MB to post your question: http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/hardwares/messageboard/fmseriesmsg/index.php3 which is more specific to your camera/drive.2. I am used to using FM-2n's but have recently purchased an F2. I love the thing and it has a very high quality feel in comparison, but I do a lot of multiple exposures. Does anyone know how reliable an F2 is for this practice? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would also like to compliment the people who have created this site. I have always wanted these cameras but couldn't afford them when I was younger. Now it's great just to browse through the site and learn more about this stuff.3. From : oliver (moengi@zip6020.com)

Hi,Friends
I have used my Nikon F2-S with the DS-1 Aperture Control Att. since 1976. I broke the A / M Lever, to change from Man. to Auto.
operation. Can not locate one anyplace or anybody that has the parts to fix it. Does anyone in NIKON-land have any ideas?
Please let me know.

Hi, I have been using Nikon for about thirty years and currently have three bodies - two F2's and a Nikkormat EL, which I sometimes prefer using as it has a higher synchro speed when using a fill-in flash in daylight. One of my F2 bodies (with a DP1 meter head and still in its original box) I would consider selling. What could I expect to get for a "new" body? I also have the following lenses, 28mm f35, micro Nikkor f35, 105mm f2.8, 200mm f4, 300mm f4.5, 80-200mm f4.5, 500mm mirror lens all in pristine condition. I am also using a (dare I say?) Canon EOS 100 which is also a great camera to use especially in low-light conditions when focusing a manual camera becomes difficult. Regards9. From : Bill Rauskolb (fwr44@cs.com)
