Hi, I have recently bought a used NIKON F2 camera with a MD-2 motor drive. Looking for the documentation on these systems, I found your website which is quite interesting. Now I am looking for a remote cord for the motor drive system (MC-2 cord or MC-4 cord?). It seems that these parts has been discontinued by NIKON. Do you have some idea to get such a piece or a replacement part (for example the connector) at a reasonable price? Best regards. Can you recommend any site where I can purchase ms-1 battery clips or MN-1 batteries. I really needed it for my camera. My old MN-1 battery pack was replaced with new battery cells and it worked for 2 years. Unfortunately, when I went back to the place where I had it replaced. The courier misplaced it before being delivered to my place, and until now it is lost. I really need it badly for my work. any information will be really appreciated. Thank You.

I have an f2 Nikon with brass body. Used it for years but now would like to sell it . Seems I cannot get the shutter to release? Can't crank to the next frame.Asside from that it's in excellent looking condition, Any thoughts or should I sell as is. Any thoughts on it's worth or how to sell it? Bob

Hello Nikon F2 fans, I have a problem with my MD-3 motor drive. The motor works but it does not trigger the shutter. The small metal pin that should move upwards (and thereby trigger the camera shutter) does not work. I supposed something is out of order inside the motor and disassembled it partly, but could not see any parts being broken. Does anybody have an idea what could be wrong here? I received some very tips concerning F2 repair on this site some time ago. Thnak you all very much! B. St.
