I have seen your picture of the F2 Titanium with a DP12 finder attached onto the camera; I have a Nikon F2AS (w/dp12 finder) but the serial number of the camera body reads 73xxxxxx, based on what was described in this site - can I assume the seller mounted a DP-12 onto an old Nikon F2 camera for me to made it a F2AS ? Fxxk !...

I owned a F2SB and has been long searching in the Net for some equivalent and useful resources for my favorite Nikon F2 camera for quite a while; most of those available sites are just too disappointing. This GREAT website is a different thing all together - I have since browsed here for the last two weeks and I am NOT so sure if I have finished all in here ! Thank you to all who has made this possible - all of you have created an incredible and invaluable resource on the Net !!!! -G.W. -

Frankly, I didn't know there are so many gadgets you can toy around with my Nikon F2 Photomic. I was offerred a DP-11 and this has help me made up my mind to get one (Probably even looking for a motor drive, the aperture control unit and may be a DP-12 prism finder.). This site is most impressive and I like it. Thanks. Bill.

Hmmm.. you are really something. I thought the Nikon F3 site in MIR is HUGE enough but seems it is no where compared to this one. Unfortunately, I have not owned a Nikon F2 yet again after my brief ownership and the last disposal back in the early nineties. I have very faint memory of the F2, I have always been wondering and guessing what were all those great era and stories about the camera. Leonard, so this site should able to let me slowly digest all you have prepared for us in the next few weeks. Lucky me... your friend, JW.

Like many others, I have a Nikon F2A for quite a number of years back in the '80 too. However, I have switch to an automatic F3 (and a F4s recently), the F2 was always in my camera bag as a backup. I am still using it periodically, and the old feel is always there. Lately, I have the wild thought of safekeeping it as a collection and trying to look for a MD-2 too. Well, prices of used items have gone up a lot and I thought may be a MD-3 is more practical. Okay, just want to drop a line to tell all of you, this site is really good. Cheers ! - Bill -

GREAT SITE!! I really enjoy reading all pages, I appreciate the work that was put into making these pages. I have been using the Nikon F2 camera for years without any problems, but my really favourite camera is still the FE (not the FE2 as that one did not use the winding lever as an on/off lever, but this is purely personal preference, I like the FE2 for its TTL flash though). BTW, I was the one who sent you the pics of the F2 PIN registered camera. I have another (different) F2 Pin registered camera, will sent you the pics later. There are several of these PIN register backs for the F2 and F3 cameras, some were manually operated and some electronically (switchboard). Congratulations on a (again) GREAT site for the Nikon F2!!
