Dear Leofoo, It is me again – Ashok. I have found a few more mistakes in the F2 site which I thought I should point out to you. Section “ Camera Body and features”: In the heading of the first two pages “Part I” is repeated. I presume in the first page it should have been “Index Page” Section “ Camera Body and features”: In the heading of the last two pages “Part VI” is repeated. I presume in the last page it should have been “Part VII” In the Flash section, pages “Nikon F2 - Early Nikon Bracket Mount Flash Units ” and page “Nikon F2 - Flash Units and/or Speedlights for Macro Photography & Various Flash Couplers” both have page numbers 4/6. First one should be 3/6. I have pointed this earlier also. In the section “Nikon F2 Photomic w/DP1 Prism- Instruction Manual” the page titled “Nikon F2 Photomic w/DP-1 Prism - Part IV” should have a page number 8/9. It has 7/9 instead. Hence the whole series is ending at 8/9 rather than 9/9. Also the title “Nikon F2 Photomic w/DP-1 Prism - Part IV” is repeated for the last two pages. In the section “Nikon F2A Photomic w/DP-11 Finder Instruction Manual “ page number 7/9 is shown as 4/5 and page number 9/9 is shown as 5/5. However 8/9 is shown properly.
I hope you will be able to correct these few minor errors in what is a fantastic site which must have taken you years of hard work. Thanks once again for developing the most informative site on F2 in the world.
Thanks and regards, Ashok from India2. From : Ashok (ashok_kandimalla@satyam.com)

Dear sir, Thanks for the great F2 site. Here are a few mistakes that I have found
1. In the Macro section page 13 (out of 15) is missing. After 12 it goes to 14. Hence there are only 14 and not 15 pages; 2. In Flash section page number 4 is repeated (not the contents just the page number.) That is both page 3 and page 4 are numbered 4. 3. In the DS12 section part 3 heading is wrong. It says "Nikon Professional Motor Drive MD-2 - Part I " - Ashok from India -3. From : michael Heit (heitmichael@hotmail.com)

Hi everyone: Here is my question. I have an eye level finder that was on my old F body. I sold that body but kept the prism finder. Can i use that finder on a F2 body without butchering the body, in other words will it snap on without any modifications. If you have an answer please try to email me as I may not get back to this site soon. Thanks in advance - michael -4. From : Jusko (jusko@sinatown.com)

Someone advertized to sell his Nikon F2 Titanium at :http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/ftz/ - that was a rare item and hard to come by lately, see if anyone of you is iinterested (before the Japanese snaps it up !). This league is too pricey for me. Hope this helps !6. From : Ulrich Beinert (analemma@gmx.de)

Hi! This is a wonderful site, exactly what I need to find out what I want to know before buying a used F2 (which I want to do). I've found an F2 now with the DP-1, but defective meter. As I understand this, the meter is in the DP-1. Can it be removed? If I remove it, do I have a normal F2? Or does something else need to take the DP-1's place?

I just want to let everyone here knows that this site is just fabulous in its web content. It is addictive and interesting and that has kept me busy reading throughout for the last one week here. The owners' manual are truly bonuses and I cannot imagine there are so many of them re-produced here for the essential Nikon accessories (AM I right to quote - only copy left out here is the F2SB ? ) ! Equally, the layout design and graphic are very well and cleverly used in the site. Just a word of appreciation to all of you who have devoted time and effort to make this site possible ! A GREAT job Well Done !!!! Regard, JMac, CA.8. From : leofoo (leofoo@mir.com.my)

Dear Sir, This is about your newly opened F2 site. An absolutely great site of my favorite camera and perhaps the greatest mechanical camera of all time.
I have noticed the following error of a link. Kindly rectify. After the section “Nikon F2 - Camera Body and Features Part IVa" instead of section 5, “Nikon Interchangeable Prisms DP-2 for Nikon F2SB - Part VIII “ is appearing. Once again thank you for a great site. Regards, Ashok Kandimalla
