Just sent a message about film advance lever not moving past 30 degrees. Thought I might mention that it is a minolta x-700. This camera is about 25 years old. Belonged to my (deceased)father-in-law and now I have it and would like to get some good use out of it. It is a nice camera. Thank you. Charlotte2. From : charlotte (maggiemay177@hotmail.com)

I have a 7000i and put new battery in it. Exposimeter indicators were working but stopped indicating sub/over exposure parameters (no + or -, not even the little arrows in the viewfinder). Does the exposimeter deactivates with any button or something???

My father has given me his AF Maxxum 7000 camera that has several additional lens. I would like to buy a quality digital camera priced at or below $ 1,000.00. Is it possible to utilize these lens on a new digital camera? If yes what camera would you suggest? Or am I better off purchasing a different camera all together? Thank you for your help.5. I mainly use older SLR bodies than this but bought one for the sake of a supplementary flash to go with my DSLR.
I couldn't help but trying the camera out though. As a result I was amazed. ;) Batteries easy to find, focusing and exposure amazingly so correct.
