ive got a maxxum 7000 with a 3500xi flash unit. In program and shutter priority modes..the sync speed is 1/60. But when I switch to aperature or manual modes..the max sync speed jumps to 1/100. Why does it do this, anyone know? thanks

I have a minolta 7000 maxxum which was giving good results except for the last 3 films. In program mode, the films are getting underexposed. What could be the reason? It appears as if some of the frames are totally blank in low light and the prints appear as if some smokescreen has coverd the entire picture. It appears that the logic for exposure and shutter speed is corrupted. The camera is 12 years old. The battery is in perfect condition. Any advice?

HELP on my 7000 My Maxxum 7000 has been in the closet for the past 3 plus years and now I want to take some photos. My daughter ruined my Nikon. I ran several rolls of ASA 200 film thru it and they all look underexposed and muddy. I wiped the lens contacts and the lithium battery appears to be still good. I even tried it with several different flash units to see if they would help. They flash but the results are the same. The closest repair shop is over 100 miles away. I am willing to try some simple repair but my 75 year old eyes won't let me do to much. Thanks for any assistance and ideas. Bob

The film advance, counter, and shutter release on my x-700 will not work. Does anyone know what might be the cause? Is this problem common? Is this an easy repair? I appreciate any comments and replies relative to this problem. Thank you.
