Minolta X-700 | Maxxmum 7000 | Dynax 7000i - Guestbook/Message Board

Each of these three featured Minolta SLR camera models represent an era of its own to lead and has great influence over the entire photographic community. Hi there. I have a 7000i that I hadn't used for a year due to a flash problem. I pulled it out and found the battery flat so I replaced that. I cleaned the flash and camera contacts and the flash now seems to work ok. However I took one photo and the film rewound and when I tried to reload another, it wouldn't. It just flashes "Help" in the display! I've taken the battery out and replaced and I can get the camera to do everything. You wouldn't know anything was wrong with it until you try reloading a film. Then I just get "Help" again. Does anyone have any ideas to solve this? Please "Help"

I have noticed in my camera that when a lens is on it everything is super dark through the viewfinder and I cannot take a picture because the camera sees it as too dark as well. When there is no lens on the camera it is nice and bright (ofcourse everything is blurry) any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks. Joe Carron kanjc@direcway.com
