Minolta X-700 | Maxxmum 7000 | Dynax 7000i

Each of these three featured Minolta SLR camera models represent an era of its own to lead and has great influence over the entire photographic community. Unlike the two great Minolta cameras of yesteryears in the XK/XM/X1 and the XD-7, these newer series of Minolta classic served a different segment of users. Unfortunately, these bodies have been long discontinued and you may even find it difficult to locate proper support even from their own creator, Minolta. Hi - I am contemplating buying a Minolta x 700. Read a lot of reviews. One minor point: a lady in NYC stated that she had trouble finding the right batteries. Is this a valid comment? Is this a real difficulty? Cheers, Frank.

I have a slightly used Minolta Maxxum 7000 that is not useable because one of the metal connectors that holds the batteries in on the battery pack cover has fallen out and got misplaced. I called the Manufacturer at Corp. headquarters in N.J. they had no answere for my delema and were not able to offer any advise on where I might be able to get a part. If anyone could offer connections on where I may be able to get the part, or battery cover I would appreciate it. Thanks

Anybody help me. Picked up this camera at a garage sale. Everything seems to work except the lcd in the viewfinder. Is there some type of reset for that or does it have to be replaced and if so where would I find a replacement. Thanks, Sam
