Each of these three featured Minolta SLR camera models represent an era of its own to lead and has great influence over the entire photographic community. Hi all,
I miss the X-700. I like Minolta because it has the warmest tone among the other 2 famous brand Japanses SLR. It maybe haven't the sharpest image but it always gives a very comfort layout for viewers. Its tone not too hard and a bit of soft sense. Welcome to my galleries for X-700's images. Enjoy. John

hi
i have recently bought a second hand milnolta maxxum 7000, under the impression that it was made in 1995! did not know that it is a 1985 product. still my photos so far have come out well, i have original flash, slightly broken but it is also working. i just stumbled upon this site, after i started looking for more literature on this camera. i have paid rs 12000 i.e. about $300 for this camera alongwith a telephoto lens 35- 200. that is how much it costs in india in secondhand market.

I bought Maxxmum 7000 in 1985, and had to replace the internal battery recently. The info provided by auto program are incorrect, and I have to use the camera in M mode. I love the camera, and will appreciate if anyone who have the same experience and tell me how to fix it.

thanks

I just bought a used Maxxum 7000 from a pawn shop and I'm amazed at how much fun it is to finally get an SLR back after 10 years of putting up with a mini pentax.

I'm totally confused how the features work cause there was no intruction manual, but his site has helped.

GREAT SITE with a lot of practical info and good graphic - easily one of the best site you can find on the Net relating to the few featured Minolta classic cameras ! Strangely, I didn't manage to get search results from yahoo and google earlier on. Instead, I found this on a link at the new Minolthian website (http://www.Minoltians.ws). Thanks to all who has made this possible. A long time Minolta enthusiast from Croatia. Cheers !
