Modern Classic SLRs Series : |
Each of these three featured Minolta SLR camera models represent an era of its own to lead and has great influence over the entire photographic community. Unlike the two great Minolta cameras of yesteryears in the XK/XM/X1 and the XD-7, these newer series of Minolta classic served a different segment of users. Unfortunately, these bodies have been long discontinued and you may even find it difficult to locate proper support even from their own creator, Minolta. Hi ; I am the owner of several Minolta Cameras like X-700, XG-7, XG-A, 5xi. I was using my X-700 a while ago and the shutter button quite working. About every 20 to 30 times it would work only once. Is there a Shutter Button still available along with a service manual for this camera. I was doing fireworks at a local festival and about half way through it quit. Its to good of a camera to let it just sit on the shelf. I love using it. Last year I did 5,015 pictures within the summer months and use all cameras doing so. Thanks, Jim Duell4. I recently bought a Minolta 7000. The lettering on the front including the Minolta logo are in gold, and there is the number 2,000,000 stamped on the back, again in gold. Does anyone know if this is a limited edition ?

My x-700 with 132 flash sometimes does not flash and when this happens it has a really long shutter delay. I always have to move the flash around on the mount and hope it works next time. This never was a problem for the first few years after it was new. Seems to happen all the time, now. Any suggestions on what might remedy this problem would be appreciated. Thanks, Russ6. I have been using my trusty Minolta Dynax 7000i for about past eight years with consistently excellent results and I love it. Of late, the motor refused to unwind the film twice. No I am afreaid of taking any more chances.

Hi,. I have a Minolta X -700 which has worked absolutely perfect for the last 15 years. On June 10th, i was taking a photo of the Solar Eclipse with a cable release when the shutter stuck open and wouldn't release. Changing the batteries and removing the cable diddn't help. Setting the timer and trying it would not activate the shutter either. I'm stuck,. any help with this problem would be greately appreciated. George
