Modern Classic SLRs Series : |
Each of these three featured Minolta SLR camera models represent an era of its own to lead and has great influence over the entire photographic community. Unlike the two great Minolta cameras of yesteryears in the XK/XM/X1 and the XD-7, these newer series of Minolta classic served a different segment of users. Unfortunately, these bodies have been long discontinued and you may even find it difficult to locate proper support even from their own creator, Minolta. Well, this site was created to serve and supplement (not compete) all existing owners and potential buyers, you may use this site for common support and share experience wherever it relates. Hello everybody, I was wondering if somebody can help me out. I own a Maxxum 7000 camera. I've had it ever since it came out, and it was a great camera. About a year ago though, I tried to develop pictures, but the pictures didn't come out. All I got was blank photo paper. I tried to develop around 2 other rolls of film until I finally gave up. Does anybody know what the problem is or know how to fix it? Thanks!2. From : Kevin Parks (Kjparks420@aol.com)

This seems to be quite a common problem, but I have yet to find information on it. I replaced both the caps in my X-700, tried to re-set the shutter, but it still wont wind manually or fire shutter. Who knows what mystery plagues my marvelous Minolta? Please help!!3. From : reginald maynard (rmaybrad@hotmail.com)

The shutter release on my x-700 will not work, and the led light wont come on . The camera has not been mistreated, the batteries are fresh. Today I tried to put some film in and the shutter wont move just wouldn't work... It worked fine last week. This is incredibly frustrating. Does anyone know what might be the cause? Is this problem common-- Is this an easy repair? I appreciate any comments and replies relative to this problem. Thank you.5. From : benjamin van der veen (axionlaser@netscape.net)

I have an x-700. I was wondering if there is anyway to expose the same frame multiple times? I have looked about on this site and several others, including Minolta's website, and I have come up with nothing...7. From : David E. Lemke (david.lemke@swt.edu)

The shutter release on both of my x-700s will not work. The cameras have not been mistreated, the batteries are fresh. One day last year I picked up the first body and it just wouldn't work. Today the second one is nonfunctional. It worked fine last week ans has just been sitting in a cabinet since then. This is incredibly frustrating. Does anyone know what might be the cause? Is this problem common--it seems to be with my cameras? Is this an easy repair? I appreciate any comments and replies relative to this problem. Thank you.8. From : Ron Bella (Norlabel@msn.com)

I have a Minolta Maxxum 7000. The LCD has leaked in the display. Is it worth repairing and is there anyone out there who can do it without robbing me blind?
