Each of these three featured Minolta SLR camera models represent an era of its own to lead and has great influence over the entire photographic community. Unlike the two great Minolta cameras of yesteryears in the XK/XM/X1 and the XD-7, these newer series of Minolta classic served a different segment of users. Unfortunately, these bodies have been long discontinued and you may even find it difficult to locate proper support even from their own creator, Minolta. I have an X-700, and recently the cocking handle jammed (it will not cock) and although the electronics work when I turn it on, the shutter will not release when I push the trigger. It seems to be stuck in limbo between thinking it needs to be advanced before it can snap the next picture, and thinking it has not snapped a picture so it won't advance. Is this a common problem? Is there a quick solution? Thanks.

Hi, I have a little question about my dynax 7000i. After one year of use the camera the autofocus stops working. Now i'am stil using the camera with manual focus, but sometimes the AF starts working. it is just for a moment, when i changes the lens i have to focus manualy. Hi, I have the original Minolta 7000 but I have a problem which is that I cant get the flash to go off when I snap the picture. The flash seems to be working fine otherwise. Please assist me.

Hi i just got a Maxxum 7000 and after 15 years the ato-foucs had warn out. Dose anyone have a Maxxum 7000 that has a working ato-foucs that they would sell to me for a relitively chep price? I am not picky. Thanks Ross

Hello all. I purchased my Maxxum 7000 in 1985. I used it for years until the internal lithium battery died. When it did I put it up in the close and forgot about it. When I found it again several years later the AAA batteries had corroded and damaged the holder. Where can I purchase the AAA or AA battery holders and what is the correct internal lithium battery? I just bought a second body for Minolta X700,appears to be in perfect order[will quickly put a film through]it's identical to my old camera but the top section is silver,the number is 1045419,is any one familiar with this model?
