Modern Classic SLRs Series : |
Each of these three featured Minolta SLR camera models represent an era of its own to lead and has great influence over the entire photographic community. Unlike the two great Minolta cameras of yesteryears in the XK/XM/X1 and the XD-7, these newer series of Minolta classic served a different segment of users. Unfortunately, these bodies have been long discontinued and you may even find it difficult to locate proper support even from their own creator, Minolta. Well, this site was created to serve and supplement (not compete) all existing owners and potential buyers, you may use this site for common support and share experience wherever it relates. Hi, I have a Minolta Maxxum 7000 camera with a Maxxum AF 100-200mm Zoom lens and I think theres a problem with it. I think the aperature in the lens is not working properly. On the camera when I can set the aperature properly but when I look into the lens when I hit take a picture(for this troubleshooting purpose) the opening for f4.5 is the same as for every other aperature opening, i.e. 5.6,8,16,22. I was wondering if there was a problem with the camera or lens or if this is normal behavior. Thanks, Ryan

Hi and thank you in advance. Does anybody have a manual or some kind of user instructions for Minolta AF 7000? A friend of mine lost his documentation. The most urgent problem is the flash. My friend has a very simple one (AGFA marked)with a normal sliding engagement which works on my nikon having in turn the same engagement and the same contact array of AF 7000. On this camera, the flash doesn't work in synchrony with the shot. Should the camera be programmed in some particular way?
