Each of these three featured Minolta SLR camera models represent an era of its own to lead and has great influence over the entire photographic community. Unlike the two great Minolta cameras of yesteryears in the XK/XM/X1 and the XD-7, these newer series of Minolta classic served a different segment of users. Unfortunately, these bodies have been long discontinued and you may even find it difficult to locate proper support even from their own creator, Minolta. Hello, I am sorry to trouble someone, I have got a Minolta X-700 and it has stopped tripping the shutter. I have replaced the two capacitor's, top was hard to do and the bottom was as easy as my two X-300's to do. However it still refuse's to function correctly. Turn it on, rest finger on the shutter release and the led's light up; press on to release the shutter button and the led's go out. Which is what I was under the impression that replacing the capacitors would cure. Has anyone got any further suggestion's that I could follow please.

I bought my Minolta 7000 back in the mid '70s when I was in the service. Still takes great pictures. I have sence lost the instructions for the camera and want to know where I can find them. Maybe some web site?

Hi all Minolta X700 friends,
is there anyone who can help me how to clean the focusing screen? As far as I know, this should be possible doing by my self, do you anyone know the procedure step by step, how to loosen the screen and blow it with air and put the screen back?

I have dug out my old X700 for my daughter who will be taking a photo class at school. I can't get the shutter to activate and therefore the film advance won't work. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks.

My (2)Lens: For my Minolta Maxxum 7000

Lens-AF50/1.7 and AF28/2.8 - "do not stop down." when focusing.
I have not used them for a very time. (18yrs)
Is this condition repairable?
