Each of these three featured Minolta SLR camera models represent an era of its own to lead and has great influence over the entire photographic community. Unlike the two great Minolta cameras of yesteryears in the XK/XM/X1 and the XD-7, these newer series of Minolta classic served a different segment of users. Unfortunately, these bodies have been long discontinued and you may even find it difficult to locate proper support even from their own creator, Minolta. I am having a problem with my Minolta X-700, I cannot get the film advance lever to move as well as the shutter button. I installed fresh batteries and still no luck. Also, I have a Minolta XD7, does anyone know where I could get a manual for it? Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

I have a Minolta X-700 and the shutter is locked I cannot cock the shutter. The camera doesn't have any film in it or batteries. Everything else seems to function properly. Can you help?

7000 AF of 1985. The flash ready symbol is always on in the lcd. This happens when it is in the lock position, with or without the 2800 flash unit attached. My photos taken with flash look great, but outside shots seem to be overexposed. Any thoghts?

Hello, I have a Dynax 7000i, worked always very well. But a year ago I had "help" in the display now and than and the camera could not do any thing. The day after the message was gone and it worked like always. But now, the "help" stays in the display and nothing changes, no function. Can anyone give me an idea? The batteries are good, (replaced by new ones, measured etc but no difference)What does "help" mean? There is nothing to find in the manual??!! Thanks! Julien p. s. I have an X-700 and the shutter won't open when I press the shutter release button. I can't find the manual to see if there is any troubleshooting info in it. I replaced the batteries. Could it be the lithium battery? How would I know? thanks for any help.
