Modern Classic SLRs Series : |
Each of these three featured Minolta SLR camera models represent an era of its own to lead and has great influence over the entire photographic community. Unlike the two great Minolta cameras of yesteryears in the XK/XM/X1 and the XD-7, these newer series of Minolta classic served a different segment of users. Unfortunately, these bodies have been long discontinued and you may even find it difficult to locate proper support even from their own creator, Minolta. My X-700's meter lights up but the shutter will not fire when i press the button all the way down. The batteries are brand new. Very very occaisionally if i set the self timer, it will count down and the shutter will fire ok, but otherwise the countdown won't even initiate. This seems to be a common problem. I can't find any solutions on the net. If anyone can help, i'd be most grateful, thankyou. Colin Pitman6. From : Gabby (dgunther@citcom.net)

I have a Maxxum 7000 I bought new in 1985. It has the offset "X"s on the front of the camera. Still seems to work perfectly. I just never sent it in for the exchange. Is this camera worth anything?8. From : Bob (rgreen1120@aol.com)

I have a X-700 and can't get the film to advance with the lever, and I can't push the button to take a picture. Sounds like several people have this problem. The solution? I have the same problem as above, what is the fix.

I have juat discovered this website. I have a Minolta X7700i (AF35-105 Lens) in excellent condition (leather case slightly worn) with dedicated flash (Program 3200i) in original case and three progam cards: Bracket, Custom, and Portrait, in a convenient Minolta card case. (UV filter [55m] attached; two polarizing filters [55mm] included.) I also have an AF Reflex 500 Lens in original case. Manuals in English for Camera (Dynax7000i) and all three cards. Manual in Japanese for flash. I would like to sell sll of this for a reasonable, negotiable price. The entire package comes in a blue padded camera bagwith front pocket and six film canister elastic straps inside zippered cover. I am in Flint, Michigan, USA. All offers considered.
Thank you very much.10.
