I have Minolta X-700, a gift. Shutter release does not work. Film advance does not work. Is there an easy to do fix? Is there a reliable service center (preferably non-company run)? Thank you very much! Bill Klein8. From : Michael (montvm1@yahoo.com)

I have a Minolta X-700 with, I believe, a computer chip problem. When the flash is attached, it works fine on Auto taking pictures at the 60 setting. When the flash is removed, still on auto, the readings through the lens register way too low and the shutter then stays open too long when taking a picture. Do I have a computer problem? Help!
