Hello, I need help in locating some equipment. I have a minolta x700 camera and resently purchased the minolta auto bellows 3, bellows. Being used, the bellows did not come with the bellows-camera connector cable that connects the camera and the lens. I was wondering if anyone knows where I might locate this cable, new or used, or whether a cable from another manufacturer such as canon or nikon would be compatable, please supply a part number if so. Thank you, Allen allioop108@aol.com

Recently I noticed that the LCD display in the viewfinder of my 7000i was only giving me output on the first numeral of my exposure setting. Anyone else experienced this and found a solution?

I just bought a Minolta X-700 MPS at a flea market. Everything seems to be operating like it should except the shutter will not release. All the LEDs and audible beeps work so I believe the batteries are OK. The winder will not advance either which I am attributing to the shutter not releasing. What have I gotten into here? Anything I can do or is this thing going to the shop? THanks for any help.

I have a minolta 7000, and it has worked fine until recently the shutter speed will not go above 100 in any mode, and the flash symbol continuously flashes in the view finder when the camera is on. It is as if the camera thinks there is a flash on it will only set flash speeds.
If anyone has any ideas, I would be most greatful

Hi, My father has owned a Monolta X-700 for about 20 years, he loves it, problem is someone knocked it off the table and the mirror (what I was told it was called)is a small plastic piece about a square inch in size. Does anyone happen to know how to repair this? get this piece back in? We were told there was a minimum of about $200.00 on this repair. Thanks, Beth

I have just purchased a Minolta Motor drive 1 for my wifes X-700. Does anyone have a manual for it that they would be willing to scan and e-mail me? Thanks in advance, Graham

I just found a great site if anyone needs an instruction manual for their camera or flash. They also seem to have a large selection of Consumer Electronic manuals as well. Check it ou at www.iManualsNow.comn I'm so excited I found my manual I had to tell someone! Peace Tom

Minolta X-700: When the camera is in "P" mode and I press the shutter button, the shutter stays open for several seconds. It works fine in AE, B, manual. Got it back from the camera store where they "repaired" this problem just a few days before I moved to the other end of the country so I can't take it back there. (Why would I want to?} Any ideas?

I have a Minolta x-700 which I like very much. I have lost my owners' manual, and want to use my exposure-adjustment control (where up to + or - 2 is used). My question is: If I want more exposure, do I go plus (+) or minus (-)? Yes, I know! It sounds like a dumb question, but I seriously need to know. I tried to get a "free" owners manual from a web-site, but it is a PDF file, and my computer doesn't have the reader for that. Thank you for helping me with this one. Richard in Michigan
