Modern Classic SLRs Series : |
Each of these three featured Minolta SLR camera models represent an era of its own to lead and has great influence over the entire photographic community. Unlike the two great Minolta cameras of yesteryears in the XK/XM/X1 and the XD-7, these newer series of Minolta classic served a different segment of users. HELP!! I recently got a Maxxum 7000, after my husband's mother passed away it still has film in it and we would like to get it out, we pressed the r button on the back to rewind film. Now the number 23 is flashing and we can't get it to stop and can't get the film out. Can someone tell me how to get the gray release bar back in and help me get the film out of camera, we will love to see what is on the film.3. From : Olle (olle@mech.kth.se)

Hi, I have some problems with my Maxxum 7000. It seems to wind up too much film after an exposure, I get around 30 exposures from a 36 image roll of film. When looking at the negatives I see that the distance between the frames is not the same all the time. Sometimes the camera winds the correct length of film but other times it winds too much (fortunately it never winds too little). Sometimes my camera also runs out of battery after a very short time of use. What could be the problem of my Maxxum 7000? I'm also curious about how to change the Lithium battery inside the camera. Most thankful Olle4. From : Kevin O (drunkn_irishman@hotmail.com)

How do I replace the internal lithium battery that needs replacing every 10 years according to the manual?
Just called Wolfe camera and they said $160 bucks minimum repair!!!! and I do not think they even knew what I was referring to!
I am fairly mechanical, if I just knew exactly where that little bugger is, I am certain I can replace it!
UNLESS THERE IS SOME SORT OF REPROGRAMING REQUIRED.

Help! my 7000i suddenly decided to go into manual focus mode and stay there. The switch moves OK (the LCD backlight lights up accordingly) but AF does not work because "manual focus" is still selected in the LCD panel. Can anyone tell me what is wrong (and if it can be fixed). Many thanks.10. I am looking for a replacement battery holder for my 7000. The original was rather poorly designed and needless to say, broke shortly after purchase and won't retain batteries anymore. Does anyone know of a source where I can purchase a replacement? It really is a great camera and I would like to make use of it once more. Cheers, Robert
