Modern Classic SLRs Series : |
Each of these three featured Minolta SLR camera models represent an era of its own to lead and has great influence over the entire photographic community. Unlike the two great Minolta cameras of yesteryears in the XK/XM/X1 and the XD-7, these newer series of Minolta classic served a different segment of users. Ihave a Minolta 7000 Af SLR camera + Minolta Auto 280PX Flashgun. The cmaera is working OK in daylight, but when used in the dark, the camera and flash do not synchronise., ie the camera release button operates but the flash does not operate. However, when charged the flash operates independently. In short I can't use the flash and camera together. What mistake am I doing, or is there some other reason??? Please help; I'll be most grateful. I do not have the operating manual with me either. SOS.2. From : DON (logsplitterdjb@aol.com)

My Minolta Maxxum 7000 stopped working. The LCD display shows the letters S, C, S.T. but nothing else. When I press the shutter button, nothing happens. No autofocus, I can't even rewind the film. I put in fresh AAA batteries but I have yet to change the Lithium button battery. It is my understanding that the lithium battery is just a memory backup and should not stop the camera from working if it goes dead? Is that true? Thanks! Richard7. From : Sinus (sinus@mailbox.gr)

I have a MINOLTA 7000. The autofocus does not work. The focus ring turns from one end to another and then the two triangles blink. When I use the manual focus, I still get no indication from the red triangles. I am using a 28-135mm AF minolta lens. Any ideas? Thank you, Sinus8. From : Mike Hall (MTHall47@msn.com)

X-700 and Autowinder G PLEASE ADVISE Hi. I just recently got my x-700 and just got the autowinder. The winder looks totally mint, but when I put in new batteries and attached it to my camera NOTHING happens. Even the red indicator light on the back does not glow. Since I am new to this I wonder if I am doing something wrong. ANY SUGGESTIONS are much appreciated. Sincerely, Mike Hall9. From : Lou (LFurstein@aol.com)

I have a Minolta X700, which I haven't used for years. Recently, I decided to resurrect it and replaced the batteries etc. The problem I am experiencing is with the shutter. The shutter seems to stick open and does not shut properly. Any advice and counsel in resolving this will be appreciated. Lou10. I have dynax 7000i with no flash. I am trying to buy an appropriate flash for it. I have looked into e-bay site and found one. Maxxum 2000i is the very one. It costs about $30. The descrition says it's for maxxum 7000i. Could someone tell me if maxxum 7000i is same with dynax 7000i? And anybody can reccomend a good flash which costs less than $100, used one, for me?
