SERVICE MANUAL for MINOLTA 7000 AF Do you know a site on internet where it is possible to download it for free? I've got a Minolta 7000 AF camera but it has a big trouble: it regularly get on but when I deeply press the shutter key (to take a photo) the shutter does not move and the camera get locked. It is necessary to put off and then on the on/off slide to unlock the camera. Here in Italy the authorized repair centre was not able to repair it (or they prefer so...)! I'm afraid! Thank's for the help!!

I received the Minolta 7000 from my father. It did not have a manual with it. I am trying to find out where and how to install internal battery. Anyone with this info would be greatly appreciated. Jeff

I have a dumb question! I was given a brand new Minolta 7000i as a retirement gift in 1988. It has developed a problem where the shutter will not release. I have had it to authorized repair center in Chiacgo Il USA area twice. It still does not work. Someone told me that this camera has two batteries with one replaced by user and other needs to be done by a "tech". Is this true or must I scrap a like new camera due to age and unable to find a true repair person/place. Thanks, Jerry - Please send reply direct to my e-mail. jerrykosik@comcast.net

Hello all, I have recently started building a collection of minolta equipment and acquired a 7000i and 8000i for my own use. howver I found that the focusing screen from the 7000 was missing. Does anyone know where one of these can be obtained at a realistic price. I am being quoted more than the camera is worth. I know it is a focusing screen 7 type G. I could also get away with a type S screen. If anyone can help please E-mail me as I would hate to have to scrap it. Many Thanks. Tony roe

My X700 exposure counter has broken/stuck, as did my X300. This is a common problem according to a quick look on the web. Last time it cost me £80 to fix at a shop - there must be a fix - anyone got the repair manual page for this? Any help welcome.
