Nikon used to make a dedicated camera case for the F3 with MD-4 attached, but it was discontinued in the '80s.

Bob, I'm not aware of any case made for the F3 series with the MD-4 attached. It might fit into a case made for the F5, but you'd have to try it and see. Walt

Am having trouble getting answer to the following question and am hoping Message Board can help. What is the camera case for the F3 with MD-4 attached? Thanks very much. Bob

Evening, Todd: When you say the camera is in excellent condition and only used twice, I would have to assume that, if your father-in-law bought the camera new, it's in near-mint condition and would probably be worth $700-800. If it is starting to show some signs of wear, but is still in good operating condition, the value would be closer to $550-600. The F3HP is beginning to show up frequently on the used market, and the over-supply of them is dropping their value. Walt

Hi All My father-in-law is thinking of selling his 1989 Nikon F3 HP. I would like to buy it, but want to offer him a fair price. The camera is in excellent condition, I think he's used it twice. Any thoughts? Thanks Todd

The camera body doesn't care what type of polarizer you use. The lens, however, will determine which one you use. A lens where the filter ring rotates when it focuses or zooms will require a circular polarizer. If the ring doesn't rotate, you can use either one.

Hi, Can anyone confirm that I am able to use a circular poloriser filter on my Nikon F3 ? or has it got to be the later linear type ? Many thanks in advanceDuncan

cdar, The F3/T is functionally identical to the F3HP, so the manual for the F3HP will cover all the operations of the F3/T. I can't address the rarity issue of the champagne F3/T. I have not seen any production numbers for the F3/T series. Walt

Hello: I have just purchased a Champaign F3/T and am concerned about the fact that I do not have an instruction manual. I have read in the past that the regular F3 highpoint manual would be sufficient. Do you sage photographers agree? Also, the Champaign was in production for a shorter time than its black titanium sister, wasn't it? Isn't it a rarer camera? Thank you so much for your assistance!
