I have a Nikon F3HP which I would like to use with out my glasses. I was told that the standard lens for the viewfinder is -1(minus 1) to make the image in the viewer look 1 meter away. My camera has two lenses on the viewfinder now, one that is part of the prism module and one (standard?), which screws on the back of the prism. My prescription is also minus 1. Would I try and find a minus 1 corrective lens for it or take the standard lens of the viewfinder off and replace it with a minus 2 corrective lens? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Fred

I'm trying to find some info on the yellow travel trunk listed only as a jpeg file on the lens cases page. I would appreciate any info about the case/trunk.

Whoo! Great site!! Nikon should pay you for it! By the way I am looking for a new MN-2 battery unit and a MH-2 charger for my 1982 F3. It seems those items are no more available (at least here in France). Does someone know where to find them? Thanks in advance. Guillaume

To Saad Yousef

Depending on what type of picture(s) you are taking in the multiple exposure mode, you might have to adjust exposure. For example, if you want to show a ghost image of something, let's say an apple, you need first to meter the scene, then take the first picture, with the apple, using half the measured meter reading. You then remove the apple and expose again for half the measured reading.

Bracketing and altering exposures between the parts of a multiple exposure might be sensible to get the precise effect you want.

Supplementing Walt's excellent explanation, most important factor is to always REMEMBER the exact frame number prior to perform a multiple exposure operation. Next - just a precaution, after completion, wind the film by another stroke via the film advance lever and observe if the frame counter jumps to the next frame.
