Nikon F3 - widely regarded as one of the most reliable electronic camera of all time and it was also the longest serving Nikon F-Series SLR camera. This evergreen model remains a hot favorite among many working pro and serious amateurs As every individual photographer has his own personal style to express himself and that includes how one handles his own photographic tools, this section allows you to share your knowledge & mutual experience using the camera. Hi!, Does anybody knows if the shutter speed dial or the whole shutter speed dial and knob is still available as a spare part from Nikon? I got an F3 with a light scratch on the dial and would like to replace it to keep the camera in the nice state it is in right now. Any dealers you might know that could handle this spare part as new? Great camera. Wondeful website ! I bought a F3HP in 83 and still remains as my one and only camera. Depandable and very freindly to use. The automation adds a layer of user friendliness and easy to control. Although never seriously involved in photography but it never broke down. Sometimes, a pro-grade body makes the differences.8. hello, the shutter on my f3hp seems to be stuck on release as every time i advance it either manually or with my md-4 it automatically releases without me pressing the button. does anyone know why this is and if so how to fix it. the camera was serviced about 5 months ago. thanksMaintainers for Nikon F3 Series SLR cameras Message Board:
