My FE2 shutter has literally blown apart~ you can see straight through it ! How can I get it replaced?? Everything else I believe to be OK, but it appears that no one in UK can help me due to lack of spare parts. The S/No is : 2128349 Black body FE2. All help will be most greatly appreciated.

Hey Ashley - I just started using a Nikon FE i picked up on eBay - as a new user - i needed a manual as well - i have been to http://www.kyphoto.com/classics/instructionmanuals.html several times to look at the Nikon FE manual there. Hope this helps

Last week I received a used MD-12. I tried it out on my FM3a, but it will only allow one exposure. After that, nothing. The camera works fine before and after installing the MD-12. When reinstalled, after being removed from the camera, the MD-12 again allows only one exposure. Any ideas????

anyone knows how to fix the shutter that doesnt fires and film advancce lever that is stucked? aside from putting new batteries and placing the shutter speed to m250?? ive been wanting use my nikon fe2 camera that my father gave me, its just that it has that kind of problem. cant affort to have it repaired in a shop, so im trying to fix it myself if i could. :( if someone could just help me fix this camera it would be gladly appreciated. ive been searching and searching in this forum and the web but still cant get no answer...thnx in advnce.. :)

kendra, the On/Off switch is just the Film-Advance Lever. When pushed all the way in (toward camera body), it's OFF. When it is in the ready position, it's ON

I just bought a 2nd hand FE and it is a great piece of equipment. For those looking for the manual or figuring out how to use this camera, just search the sites in this portal. It's a great help and gives you very detailed info on the camera and accessories.
