hi michelle: take a look at the completed sales on ebay to get an idea of 'auction' prices. the FT3 is the most expensive of the FT nikkormat series, they weren't introduced until nearly the end of the line when the FM was about to be introduced... so they're the most advanced of the nikkormats and also there aren't a whole lot of them. the nikkormat FT3 is the only FT-series model that has the AI lens indexing system instead of the old pin-in-fork. it's functionally equal to the nikon FM that followed it, except that it didn't accept a power winder. rick :)=

Hi Sandra: the ELW body looks like it would run in the $150-225 range depending on condition and where you go to buy it. there's one on ebay at the moment with a winder, no bids at $225 with 20 minutes left to go. The lenses would depend on which ones they are.... I picked up a 200/4 nikkor-Q for $50 but they would more typically run in the $75-100 range and later lenses would be a bit higher. i suppose the 300/4.5 would be worth about twice as much as the 200/4 of comparable age and condition. :)=

I have a 1976 ELW Nikkormat that was damaged during a flood in my basement. I still use it often as it feel it is perhaps the best SLR in manual cameras, based on a personal preference. Could you tell me what the value would be to replace the camera. I also have a couple of Nikor lenses one 200mm and one 300mm. I can be more specific with the lenses if you have any information to replacement costs. Thank you, Sandra
