I am the owner of a Nikkormat EL, I am wondering if anyone might be interested in buying it. The camera is in very good shape and as I understand it was rarely used. Please send any Q's and A's to foolishtwo3@hotmail.com

Hi there to all, I am hoping that someone can help me out here. A few months ago I was givin a FT2. And Boy it needs a lot of work. Does anyone know if there is still parts out there to fix these old cameras. Also anyone know what size of battery they take. I know that i need a new battery cover and a few other things. Are there stores out there that carry parts for a FT2. I would like to get a new lense, are there any new items out there that can adapt to the FT2. PLEASE if anyone has any info that can help me put this back together so I can use it. Please feel free to email me or leave a message. OH are these worth anything to sell at all???? Do they take good pics!!

Is it possible to change, or to have a repair shop change, the focus screen on the Nikomat FTn? I would prefer a split prism.
Thaks in advance
David

face it ! the nikkormats is by now all so old between 20,30 up to forty years old...so the only way is to suffer and use the 17 th sunny way or do what i had to,invest into a handheld light meter, like sekonic.this is fine with me,and i get perfect shots every time, the only problem left over there is,if you have a shutter problem within the cam,but thats up to a cameraengineer to fix.
so whats up? go and get a nice selenium meter or buy a fancy sekonic and go shooting perfect slides with the ool nikkormats!

I have a nikkormat ft series camera that is in beautiful condition. I've taken a couple of rolls with it, but the light meter doesn't work. Pictures turn out great, but I over expose some. Is there any hope of fixing the light meter? I know about the battery situation (1.35/1.5), but that's not the problem. My dad knows that the lightmeter was broken many years ago and never had it fixed. Can I get the lightmeter fixed?
Note - I might be willing to pay more than seems appropriate since this camera has sentimental meaning to me.

david
