I have a Nikomat EL and am looking for Macro Lens &/or zoom.Does anyone have an idea as to what a good price would be for the lenses for this camera ?Specifically, I am interested in a Macro Lens that they originally produced and also the 35mm - 85mm (??) zoom.I found one of each in a camera store. They look like they are in very good condition. They want $135 for the Macro. The zoom was either $195 or $295 ?
I don't use the camera much.Would I be better off with buying a filter magnifying set for about $36 rather than the macro ? (i.e., any discernable difference in quality of 8x10 enlargement you think ?)Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Does anyone know a great place that repairs the Nikkormat camera's. (Preferably in the Southern US or New York). The camera works fine, it's just the lens mount is broken.thanks,Aaron Rushin4. From : Gen Holst (genholst@excite.co.uk)

Marcella Turkaly: To me, sensibly you might as well consider buying a newer version of the FM2(n). I never implied that the Nikkormat is no good but your daughter can have more fun (amd pick up more knowlege in photography) with the FM2n because there is less chances of worrying incompatibility with newer series of system accessories (especially with the lenses/camera combination). An used FM2n is not that expensive but need some patience to look for one (and a little luck). The FM2n is still a current model. As for the lenses, you can look for used ones. You can try Ebay or at : http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/ftz/index.php35. From : Marcella Turkaly (marcellas42@aol.com)

To anyone who can help me:
I purchased a Nikkormat in 1966/67 new. I used it for many years with great satisfaction. I then gave it to my daughter to use for her photography classes and she loved it. It never left her side, until one day it was stolen. We have none of the information left about it and I am trying to see if I can find her another one. Is there anyone out there who knows of a place I could buy one and what the price would be?
Thanks so much. Please email me at marcellas42@aol.com

I found 4 options, non of which I understand. Can someone please explain the difference in the following lens types: Non-AI, AI, AI'D, and AIS. What type would you recommend for my camera.
Thanks
