I recently got a Nikkromat El with 50mm/f.2 and 135mm/f3.5. I love the quality of pictures they provide, and the solid feeling of the machine. I would like to share anybody who use Nikkormat intensively, because it is totally new gear for me. And mechanical tool is fun to use, with unlimited inspiration, no regret.
Please talk with me via cyberspace

Hi Craig:
eBay seems most likely, you may have to watch patiently for a while. Sometimes cameras appear with the flash shoe attached, you could buy one and then resell the camera to get your money back. The shoe itself may be too small an item for someone to list seprately.
The only other thing I can think of is if you have an old camera store in your area that you could go ask about old stock, but camera stores are disappearing at a rapid rate these days....4. From : Lana (lana2bueno@yahoo.com)

I have my father's camera for sale. He was an engineer and took very good care of all of his equipment. It is a SLR Nikon Nikkormat Ft 370 65 35. There are extra lenses available and also a nice case. It works well and has no problems that I know about. Please contact me via email to make an offer to purchase. Thank you.5. I'm the original owner of a Nikkormat Ftn I got in 1972 or '73. I'm looking for a mount adapter (series 2 maybe?) that screws in behind the eyepiece and allows you to top mount a small flash unit. Any ideas where to find one? I checked ebay and no go. Thanks.6. From : rick oleson (rick_oleson@yahoo.com)

Hi Batia:
An easy way to tell the models of Nikkormat apart is by the serial number:
FT (1965) and FTN (1968) serial numbers start with the letters FT; in the FTN, there is a letter N above the serial number. The serial numbers of the FT2 (1975) and FT3 (1977) begin with those characters.
These models are all very similar. Changing lenses became more convenient beginning with the FTN; with the FT2, they changed from a (now no longer available) mercury battery to a silver cell; and the FT3 brought in the new AI lens system.7. From : Batia (batialevy@gmail.com)

I have a vintage Nikkormat camera but not sure of model or other technical specs. It belonged to my father who was a serious amatuer photographer who brought it with him to Israel and left it with me before he passed away.
Anyone wanting a photo or more information can contact me by email.
