Collection of my Thai Religious Amulets/Pendants - Message Board/Guestbook

Religious Thai Amulets are immensely popular among many Thai locals or even the Chinese that residing in South East Asia - probably most followers never have the chance to worship the religion and hopefully with the little image that we wear on the body can provide some form of relief. As I mentioned in the site, probably it takes a Thai to create such a high quality website features specifically on these lovely collective pendants. As I can never be claimed knowledgeable in this strong thai traditions but since I am a web developer in nature, I create this solely for personal consumption and hope to provide a linkage among all passionate collectors. Some of the opinion presented within the site was entirely personal and I do not wish to influence any decision prior to any potential purchases or disposal. So, this forum is intended to provide a channel for all to make use of it to present your own individual views. Enjoy.

As this site is specifically created for this purpose - so, please don't mail me other than constructive suggestions or rectifying mistakes found in this site, thanking you. Dear master,

I hope and appreciate you can provide info and guidance to me on this parakit. More than 10 yrs. ago, a very good friend of mine gave me a parakit. He chose to give it to me as he was converting to muslim to marry a malay girl. Muslim are forbiden to keep a parakit. This parakit has a women with her back embracing a parakit. He told me it is for protection and improvement of human relationship. This parakit is quite old and dusty and perhaps need some cleaning. I am not too sure of the material it is made of. Looks like wood, bone or earth. Not metal. All this while I kept it inside a drawer and have not even wear it as I am a bit sceptical about it's effectiveness. I feel down the past 2 yrs and this parakit came to my mind recently. Can it help me to improve my life? How to clean it and is there any khata to recite before I can wear it? Appreciate your expert advice on this. Thank you.

Sincerly your's,

pk

Have wrote an email to your Web Host:- Christopher Jones 1 month ago to remove our link address list in your Web Guides / External Links.Till now no action is taken. we wish to take this as a last message informing you to remove the link before we takes any further action.

Note :- Sounds a little hostile and I am not sure what was happening between the named parties involved. Well, this is a simple, straight forward Buddhist site in nature, I don't quite like conflicting points and remarks. The best is like what Brother Stan and Koh had suggested, we leave the issue aside and had deleted whatever the word "commercial" from the link Page as well as removing any sensitive name(a) that someone thinks was the root of all irritation.

Here we seek inner peace under the mercy watchful eyes of Lord Buddha acquiring an amulet that aims Buddha close to our physical and mental. So, If anyone of you came by here is solely seeking for link info on buy/sell/trade issues, just go else where and find out OK? Errr .. I have not sold a single amulet in my life EXCEPT giving away whatever I was given; as I know that was the true nature why Buddhist amulets are made for by all those respectable Guru Monks and temples; and thus, I may not understand the perspective of all these causes and neither I am interested to find out ..

Personally, the last thing I want to see the board can be potentially turning into such a messy state that orinated from a simple issue and that is NOT my objective in creating such a website. Oh, by the way I am still in China, I will be updating some interesting Buddhist landmarks here in China when I am free. Thanks for reading.

Attached: "...I would suggest that the above statement to be removed and at the same time, to either "review again" or "remove" the sensitivity of the word "Full Commercial Sites", "Partly Commercial Sites" or "Non Commercial Sites". This is due to the fact that some sites which were originally non commercial has turned into full commercial or a mixture of both. As such, is truly difficult for us to differentiate unless the "intent" is clearly reflected in their websites but is best not to comment since it is also judgemental.

As our Lord Buddha has mentioned, nothing is permanent in this world, it changes all the time(Anicca in Pali language). As such, you might have commented correctly or truly but the comments could be outdated in the long run since situation changes all the time.

Bro Leonard, your call..."
