Collection of my Thai Religious Amulets/Pendants - Message Board/Guestbook

Religious Thai Amulets are immensely popular among many Thai locals or even the Chinese that residing in South East Asia - probably most followers never have the chance to worship the religion and hopefully with the little image that we wear on the body can provide some form of relief. As I mentioned in the site, probably it takes a Thai to create such a high quality website features specifically on these lovely collective pendants. As I can never be claimed knowledgeable in this strong thai traditions but since I am a web developer in nature, I create this solely for personal consumption and hope to provide a linkage among all passionate collectors. Some of the opinion presented within the site was entirely personal and I do not wish to influence any decision prior to any potential purchases or disposal. So, this forum is intended to provide a channel for all to make use of it to present your own individual views. Enjoy.

I wish to introduce myself to you as Tony Dean, the owner of Medal Art Mint, a new Australian based minting business producing medals and medallions based. As the past manager of the design department and a designer, engraver and sculptor working for the Perth Mint in the 1990s I have had much experience in producing Buddhist Medallions for the Thai market. Medal Art Mint are hoping to enter the Buddhist medallion market as for me personally I found this work very satisfying and extremely interesting. I will be in Bangkok visiting on both business and as a tourist traveling on to Laos and Vietnam in march and April. I would like to make contact with people wishing to commission Buddhist medallions. I can be contacted by email or via the Medal Art Mint website soon to be posted www.medalartmint.com Thank you, Tony Dean Manager Medal Art Mint

Cheng Yu, Thanks for your generous comments. As far as pricing goes, it just seems like it gets to be too much like a commodity by putting prices on the amulets. Anyone who is seriously interested is welcome to make contact and I can disclose what the owner will let it go for. Hopefully this makes sense and you understand my point of view. Thanks again and Rgds Gary

Mr. Gary, some of the amulets are very very good images. Are they for sale ? It will be nice to put the price indication for consideration.

Come to think of it, leo's suggestion of standardizing the names for amulets makes a lot of sense... Hope someone can help to compile this into a list for this site(I can't, Pen-yin" is good but not useful for the Thai. haha ..
