Collection of my Thai Religious Amulets/Pendants - Message Board/Guestbook

Religious Thai Amulets are immensely popular among many Thai locals or even the Chinese that residing in South East Asia - probably most followers never have the chance to worship the religion and hopefully with the little image that we wear on the body can provide some form of relief. As I mentioned in the site, probably it takes a Thai to create such a high quality website features specifically on these lovely collective pendants. As I can never be claimed knowledgeable in this strong thai traditions but since I am a web developer in nature, I create this solely for personal consumption and hope to provide a linkage among all passionate collectors. Some of the opinion presented within the site was entirely personal and I do not wish to influence any decision prior to any potential purchases or disposal. So, this forum is intended to provide a channel for all to make use of it to present your own individual views. Enjoy.

As this site is specifically created for this purpose - so, please don't mail me other than constructive suggestions or rectifying mistakes found in this site, thanking you. How can one know what to know when you dont know what to know.Confused....one of my friends asked me how i can judge a amulet from another i told him that experience is important and that one have to be very careful when looking and judging a amulet and its almost impossible if you dont have the mentioned amulet in your hand i told him.He was satisfyed whit the answer and so was i....i thought, but in the night when i was going to sleep i thought about what i hade told my friend and it was not the whole thruth...Why beucase i dident want to tell him or was it that i dident want him to think that i was a litle bit crazy if i told him that when i have a genuine amulet in my hand that my intyre body just starts to shiver and i feel....like my stomache is ful of bubbeling happy feeling.I dont know but if some of you brothers or sisters have some kind of same experience and want to cheare the thoughts please mail.I just want to see how comon this feeling experience is.As for my friend i told him the next day and i dont think he thought that i was crazy...mayebe a litle bit wearde.Love Pease and Understanding.Morgan

Message for:

1) Curious newbie (nomail@tooshy.com)
New Tok Raja imaginaries can be obtained directly from Wat Uttamaram in Pasir Mas, Kelantan
(http://www.geocities.com/watuttamaram)
Alternatively, it depends on where you are residing, if there are representatives in that state or country, they might be able to help you.

2) tan yee heng (jeremy_yhtan@yahoo.com)
Jatukam is residing in one of the heavenly realms of the 31 realms of existence (Samsara) and Jatukam imaginaries have been proven very effective in eradicating poverty and bringing prosperity and happiness to the owner.
Unfortunately, due to the high demand of Jatukam imaginaries, the price has been escalated to more than ten times of the original price especially the early batches. Perhaps you want to share with us your experience or miracles in wearing jatukam amulets.
More information on Jatukam. Browse the following websites:
a) http://www.nattawitt.com
b) http://www.siristore.com/index_en.asp

3) Yantraguy (yantraguy@yahoo.com)
You may browse this website for more information about Pidta.
http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/leofoo/Thai-amulets/leofoo/htmls/index3.htm
In summary, Pidta is one of the Sangha/Arahant during the era of Sakyamuni Siddhartha Gautama Buddha.
Buddhists pay homage to the Triple Gems, the Buddha, Dhamma(his teachings) and Sangha(the community of monks).
Unlike some of the imaginaries are related to Hinduism such as Lord Ganesh and Phra Phrom Brahma
(http://www.geocities.com/stanslthong/prom.html) whereas Pidta represent great Arahant in Buddhism.

4) Khun Jesper Karlsson (jesper@globalcuts.com)
As mentioned by Ray, only four different types of M-16 LP Thuad. They are not just famous amulets but affordable.
Perhaps any brothers and sisters out there would be able to explain about the creation process.

5) Joshua (comment@norplyplease.com)

Penang State

(famous for its Lifting Buddha (LP Yok), Pidta and buddhist amulets. another famous temple for its buddhist amulets is Wat Sungai Puyu, located on the mainland of Penang state. Website still in progress)

Melaka State
d) http://www.geocities.com/watjinaraja/

6) Jan (j_h@yahoo.com)
With regards to your question as to whether the second edition of LP Doengs somdejs was blessed by LP Daeng, you need to check with the present chief abbot.

7) Clamence Fong (tackling_issues@hotmail.com)
Welcome to MIR website on buddhist imaginaries. Besides learning about buddhist amulets in this Message Board, you would also have the opportunity to view famous buddhist temples in Thailand, Burma, Cambodia etc. and linkages to various resources about Buddhist imaginaries and Buddhism.

Dear brother Raymond - this is the first time I came across Tok Raja pendant (search via google and found here). By the way, I must say I am deeply impressed (and proud to find oyt it is an all-malaysian original works) with the works done in this site. Q: how much does one costs ? are they newer (cheaper ones) >?
