Collection of my Thai Religious Amulets/Pendants - Message Board/Guestbook

Religious Thai Amulets are immensely popular among many Thai locals or even the Chinese that residing in South East Asia - probably most followers never have the chance to worship the religion and hopefully with the little image that we wear on the body can provide some form of relief. As I mentioned in the site, probably it takes a Thai to create such a high quality website features specifically on these lovely collective pendants. Sometimes ago, Leonard has pointed me to site (buddha Relic); the set comprises of SIX WRK in few different form. The lady sells it for USD100-00, if you break down the prices, each will be less than RM100-00. *00 for a piece is too high lah. Unless the version is different, then aku tahu then. Sorry if this has hurt a potential sale.

I personally find that old somdej WRK look pretty nice in view and wanted to get one to wear, but I do not really know what actually somdej give in protection. Anyone can advise? And also anyone can recommend old somdej WRK for me? I recently found a WRK somdej Roypee (B.E 2515) by a person said this batch of somdej is memorial 100 years for somdej Toh and is about 35 years until now, is that true? But it cost RM800... is this a reasonably price? Please advice, thanks! Regards, CK

Dear Co-Moderator and Hoon, Thanks for the input. will let him know accordingly. He managed to scan a few pics to share with you all. pls click on the above homepage link to view. His purpose of disposing is that he is afraid that the amulet may not be 'clean' and may bring bad luck. I told him thats the image of Buddha. no need to worry. Do good, and 'dirty' stuffs can't get you. Thank you all!

Wat Paknam introduced a series in every cycle of approx. 10 years. you can compare the versions at

http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/leofoo/Thai-amulets/Wat-PakNam/WPN_version_history/index.htm

From version 1 to current medallion, each sold (at temple) for about 100 baht. But it appreciates over time. Forget about the roon one, two or three as they are too pricey now. Version 4 and six are picking up quickly in popularity as well as prices arer spiking.
