Collection of my Thai Religious Amulets/Pendants - Message Board/Guestbook |
Religious Thai Amulets are immensely popular among many Thai locals or even the Chinese that residing in South East Asia - probably most followers never have the chance to worship the religion and hopefully with the little image that we wear on the body can provide some form of relief. As I mentioned in the site, probably it takes a Thai to create such a high quality website features specifically on these lovely collective pendants. As I can never be claimed knowledgeable in this strong thai traditions but since I am a web developer in nature, I create this solely for personal consumption and hope to provide a linkage among all passionate collectors. Some of the opinion presented within the site was entirely personal and I do not wish to influence any decision prior to any potential purchases or disposal. So, this forum is intended to provide a channel for all to make use of it to present your own individual views. Enjoy.

Dear Bro. Alfred Tan (chkozen@tm.net.my) Yes, both LP Lin Dam (Ooh Chi) from Kedah and Por Than Lek from Aril Kelantan are very well known. Unfortunately, I don't have adequate information at this moment for me to built a website featuring these famous Malaysian Thai Buddhist Masters. As the matter of fact, I am currently working on the website for Than Win of Wat Sungai Puyu in Penang and awaiting for Than Win's nephew permission, who is now administering the temple, before the release of the website. Besides Wat Sungai Puyu, I will also be concentrating on the famous Wat Kalai (current Chief Abbot Than Dam) and another respected Buddhist Master, Than Choi of Wat Titi Akar in Pendang, Kedah. The amulet pic is quite blur, so if you can retake a photo, it'll be easier to see the phim. According to what you've written next to the pic, its from Wat Prasat.1350. Congratulation for the good effort, keep it up. A part of Tok Raja or Chao Khun, would appreaciate if we coild add information on LP Lin Dam or Ooh Chi from Kedah. Another famous guru monk I came to know is Than Lek from Aril Kelantan. I think it is worth to share our own famous Guru monk with other buddhist from other part of the world. Thanks Metta to all.
