Collection of my Thai Religious Amulets/Pendants - Message Board/Guestbook

Religious Thai Amulets are immensely popular among many Thai locals or even the Chinese that residing in South East Asia - probably most followers never have the chance to worship the religion and hopefully with the little image that we wear on the body can provide some form of relief. As I mentioned in the site, probably it takes a Thai to create such a high quality website features specifically on these lovely collective pendants. As I can never be claimed knowledgeable in this strong thai traditions but since I am a web developer in nature, I create this solely for personal consumption and hope to provide a linkage among all passionate collectors. Some of the opinion presented within the site was entirely personal and I do not wish to influence any decision prior to any potential purchases or disposal. So, this forum is intended to provide a channel for all to make use of it to present your own individual views. Enjoy.

Don't get fooled by the map and dimension of scale. Cambodia is a fairly large country (just like when you reach KL, you want to go Penang). So, plan your trip and how many days are you going to spend there is important to spare the visits. If you appreciate the historical heritage and Buddhist interests, you probably have to spend a day just one on location (well, you can finish them all in a day too, haha ..). Angkor Wat is actually quite a distant away from the capital city (Was told 6 hours by road, so, you ought to plan by flight but warning, fare in Cambodia is calculated in US$$, so, it is more economical even to split the trip to two (sa via Air Aia direct to Siamreap). Try here for some guide:

Just a quick update as at 08.11.2007: The folder of Thai Amulet site now consists of 5,390 files in a huge 1.5GB of raw data. Two years ago, it was only made up of 1,950 files in 131.5MB as more and more images in larger file size had been uploaded. This is excluding the Burma, Cambodia Buddhist landmarks. This is use for personal reference / record as I am quite lazy to calculate assuming I have to do it again to compare the site development progress say, 2 years from now. Thanks.

I have one of the amulets on display at this this link of yours.

http://www.mir.com.my/leofoo/Thai-amulets/leofoo/Paul/PaulBFrntBig.jpg

i am just an amatuer on this but I was given this amulet by my bro in law. According to him, the name of the monk sitting on a tiger, with two 'angels' by his side and a cobra towering above his head are Luang Phor Kai.

I read your contents with alot of interest and find it very informative and exciting. Well done and please keep up.

By the way, this year my luck was extremely bad and was facing alot of difficulties, so I turn for a help from the blessing of my amulets, hopefully. I have only two tablet with me, 1 is LP Kai and another is LP Thuad.
