Collection of my Thai Religious Amulets/Pendants - Message Board/Guestbook

Religious Thai Amulets are immensely popular among many Thai locals or even the Chinese that residing in South East Asia - probably most followers never have the chance to worship the religion and hopefully with the little image that we wear on the body can provide some form of relief. As I mentioned in the site, probably it takes a Thai to create such a high quality website features specifically on these lovely collective pendants. As I can never be claimed knowledgeable in this strong thai traditions but since I am a web developer in nature, I create this solely for personal consumption and hope to provide a linkage among all passionate collectors. Some of the opinion presented within the site was entirely personal and I do not wish to influence any decision prior to any potential purchases or disposal. So, this forum is intended to provide a channel for all to make use of it to present your own individual views. Enjoy.

As this site is specifically created for this purpose - so, please don't mail me other than constructive suggestions or rectifying mistakes found in this site, thanking you. One of the sad things in amulet collecting life is, good pieces have been commercially traded. However, images like SOOMDEJ, Wak Pk Nam or LP Thuad serves your purpose well (all angles) and many good ones are not neccessarily high in price (unless you are convinced some rarity ones worths the asking price), a sad state but a hard fact.

Hey, found this link from Google and I am happy to see N read so many articles and Thai images. Visted Songkla last month and things are very "quiet" over the border diue to the over-stated violent situation there. The old copper chrome Pitta image shown at the pitta section is from Songkla, I think, while another (with many scripts) is from hadyai. They are very good images ! Hope tos ee more images uploading in the furture.

Hello. Recently I have got a an amulet from a Monk while visiting a temple. That was the reason why I have found this site via google. I am happy to find out the name to be exact to satisfy my curiosity (it is a Nang Praya). Thanks for the work you put in and I am sure many will find it useful especially it is very clear in its content and easy to mnavigate. Hope all of you have a good day. By the way, I am from Pasir Merah. Cheers.

It is a good experience to visit such a religious site. I have little knowledge on Buddhism and this site has give me a perfect start getting to know an oriental thought and belief. The site is huge though, can I suggest some articles on the origin as well (I have found some good links on the LINK page, but it should be nice to include in this excellent site as well. Once again, Thanks for the introduction as this is important for my school works. Regards from Ohio. US.

Hei .. surprise, surprise find of the day. I am indeed very glad to see such a high quality local site features on Amulets. My gal friend and I both have a Pidta and a four faced Buddha (mini). I have learnt a great deal with the featured images and wish to see this site can grow in the future both in quality and quantity. Thank you, all the best ! BRQAVO, MALAYSIAN !

Yang Chik & Tuanku: Hai, I have read wbout your constructive suggestions and has mailed leo relating to such possibility as both of you pointed out correctly, we should have some local guru in this site. The main issue for this specific topic is, Leo thinks it is very difficult for him to create a site without much knowledge to the ferw local gurus. Perhaps, he thinks if two of you can furnish him the info (and more improtantly, plenty of images) he can create one with the contributors as developer. I cannot help much as I am quite raw to their info as well. You can contact him via leofoo@tom.com or the company's email (can guess what is the email address with his mir.com.my, right ??). Perhaps, anyone who is knowledgeable enough to furnish more info on the few Gurus ??
