Collection of my Thai Religious Amulets/Pendants - Message Board/Guestbook

Religious Thai Amulets are immensely popular among many Thai locals or even the Chinese that residing in South East Asia - probably most followers never have the chance to worship the religion and hopefully with the little image that we wear on the body can provide some form of relief. As I mentioned in the site, probably it takes a Thai to create such a high quality website features specifically on these lovely collective pendants. As I can never be claimed knowledgeable in this strong thai traditions but since I am a web developer in nature, I create this solely for personal consumption and hope to provide a linkage among all passionate collectors. Some of the opinion presented within the site was entirely personal and I do not wish to influence any decision prior to any potential purchases or disposal. So, this forum is intended to provide a channel for all to make use of it to present your own individual views. Enjoy.

HI Leo, I am also a collector of Somdej Watrakhang with some in perfect condition and am willing to share some of my collection with your reader. If you are interested, please reply to me and I can forward some photos to you. Thanks and best regards, Richard

Kakaman:- Dear Richard, IF I am not opened to these kind of good gesture/offers, why would I had this site for huh ? It is meant for sharing among the many brothers. But I guess you would also accept the term to let me take a preview of the collection first before a decision is made. If the acceptable showcase on your collection is too many, then I will create a separate display site for you like what I did for Raymond and Brian Koh. IF there are only a smaller number of specific collection that you intend to share, then I will group them under the appropriate section in the site i.e. WRK to Wat Rahkang pages, Soomkor to Soomkor section, Khun Paen to Khun Paen page etc.. Naturally, credit and link will be provided.

Lastly: try to capture the image on a white background (paper) and send me a larger file size (1000 pixels will be good for enlarged view(s) to show the details).

Dear Sir, I would be very interested if you would consider a link to my website http://buddhist-amulets.com

I know that commercial webistes are not that appealing, but i think if you look carefuklly you may find that my site is very much different to most other webistes. I would like to draw your attention to the detailed reasearch that I am involved in, most of this information is totally unique to my webiste and is not available from any other english language source. A good example is a recent article I completed on the LP Toh Somdej http://www.buddhist-amulets.com/somdej_wat_rakhang1.htm

You may like to provide this link to your readers, as it lists all the articles i have written: http://www.buddhist-amulets.com/Article.aspx and i will be continualy updating this information with 2 new in-depth articles every week.

Kind regards

I guess the best person to ask is actually Uncle Wichian as well as Purt as BOTH of them are originated from South Thailand. Purt can be reach at: thai_service@hotmail.com support@thailandamulets.com +6685-6126209 +6644-230380 Uncle Wichien doesn't use web, you can find his detail and contact at http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/leofoo/Thai-amulets/htmls/vichien.htm
but other than Thai, he can speak Hokkian a little BM.

Dear Brothers and Sisters, I am pleased to inform that from 2 Nov 2007 till Mar 2008, for the first time ever, Lord Buddha's relic from the Nalanda region (Bihar) would be exbited in Singapore's Asian Civilisation Museum (Empress Place). I am told that this relic is authenticated by the UN and is being exhinbited outside India for the first time.

Together with the relic, I understand that other Buddhist pieces from the Silk Route would also be in during this period. Some of the collection from Nei Xue Tang would also be exhibited. I have seen the ones from Nei Xue Tang and they are quite impressive. More info may be culled fm the ACM website www.acm.gov.sg

Dear Sir, I am very impressed by what you have showed on this websites. I am very keen to look for Amulets from the Luangpor Dum Nuntiyo (Phra Ratchabuddhirangsi) and Luangpor Suk Sumungkalo from Wat Mujajarintawapiwiharn a.k.a. as Wat Tuyong in Pattani, South Thailand. I have very sentimental reaons for looking for their Amulet.

I do not know if you could help me.

Thank you in advance.
