Collection of my Thai Religious Amulets/Pendants - Message Board/Guestbook

Religious Thai Amulets are immensely popular among many Thai locals or even the Chinese that residing in South East Asia - probably most followers never have the chance to worship the religion and hopefully with the little image that we wear on the body can provide some form of relief. As I mentioned in the site, probably it takes a Thai to create such a high quality website features specifically on these lovely collective pendants. As I can never be claimed knowledgeable in this strong thai traditions but since I am a web developer in nature, I create this solely for personal consumption and hope to provide a linkage among all passionate collectors. Some of the opinion presented within the site was entirely personal and I do not wish to influence any decision prior to any potential purchases or disposal. So, this forum is intended to provide a channel for all to make use of it to present your own individual views. Enjoy.

Dear brothers, I have just come into possession of a metal phra pitta and was told it is made by Luang Phor Thong from near Hat Yai. I don't have a digicam currently, so will not be able to post any photos but I hope any knowledgeable brothers here who might know about this monk or amulet can tell me which temple the monk is from and biography of this monk? Also, is there any kathas to chant for phra pitta? Sorry if my questions sound amateurish. Hoping to learn more about amulets. Thank ou.

http://forums.delphiforums.com/amulet2/messages?msg=248.6 Such vulgar messages were allowed by the host to pass through even though the whole forum is under moderation.I guess his main motive is to kill off the other forums by allowing flamings of others but banning of ppl who speak out against him. Do NOT support such double standard people and boycott the "new forum"! Mr Leofoo / Stan / Morgan, please control his advertising in here. It is getting irritating!

Here is a nice visdom story. There was two monks walking to a temple the temple was a days walk so they disayed to take a short cut thru the jungle. When they had walked for a few hours they came to a river.Just when they wear going to cross the river they saw a old lady sitting on the same riverside crying. One of the monks asked here why she was crying and she told them that she couldent cross the river beucase the steam was to strong for here. One of the monks asked her to jump upp on to his back and they crossed the river. On the other side the old lady thanked the monk and the monks started to walk after a few more hours walking the other monk stopped and loked angry at his friend and asked...How cude you tutch that woman....the friend loked at him and sayd...i left that woman hours a go on the other side of the river and you...You are still carrying here around. Some times you have to see between your fingers if it is for a better cause.Best Morgan PS:Many are talking about, meditation,Amulets, rituals, going in tempels.Nice but dont forget that the goal is to,helping and giving to less fortunant brothers and sisters in need. For a better world and you get a free bonus...thru happynes.

Dear Members, Since I have been receiving quite a number of enquiries with regards to the 1st batch of Penang's Wat Buppharam amulets and instead of responding individually to members concerned, here are the details for those who would like to obtain the amulets:

1) Golden Pidta (minimum donation - RM68 only)
2) Rian Buddha with Pidta at the back (any amount of donation)

Please be informed that for item 2, not many left since the Chief Abbot wants all devotees to have this highly blessed amulet and has requested me not to ask for any donation if devotees would only request for the Rian. Interested members, pls let me have your full name and address. Any contributions will be issued with the temple receipt. For further enquiries, pls do not hesitate to email me. FYI, I am currently working on a number of websites and hopefully by this yearend, you would be able to browse the MIR Malaysian temples information with their respective temple websites. I would like to apologise to some our members where I took a long time to respond to their emails since I am frequently attending meditation retreat with the observance of eight precepts unlike our normal five precepts for a Buddhist.

Pls be patience if I have not responded to your emails timely. Metta, Stan Thong

Without real Buddha teaching kids will follow direction where got eat, adult follow direction where got benefit. Tigers killed because human being know every part of its body was benefit, million of Iraqi killed because because below theirs land full with petroleum benefit....Irani maybe comin soon.... Without real Buhhda teaching whatever amulets we wear maybe not effective... because in Buddha teaching world just have voluntary & karma,no force,no blame,no promise,no contract,no control,no guarantee,dll... Amulets are suitable for everybody, not everybody suitable to wear amulets. High monk means the monk who have good karma & high skill to communicate with the spirits. They go into deep jungle to communicate with diffrent kind of spirit, pass real Buhhda teaching for them, understand their need, collecting their special need for stay then bring back Wat. Inside some amulets Somdej TO got more than 200 over kinds diffrent special powder..it means got more than 200 over kinds of spirits will come volunteer and stay to take karma here.

So big blessing ceremony for new amulets was very important to make sure that all spirit who follow real Buddha teaching just got certify to take karma dll and stay in own room in hotel dll.. Diffrent karma of amulets wearer amulets will show diffrent effective & power...
