Collection of my Thai Religious Amulets/Pendants - Message Board/Guestbook

Religious Thai Amulets are immensely popular among many Thai locals or even the Chinese that residing in South East Asia - probably most followers never have the chance to worship the religion and hopefully with the little image that we wear on the body can provide some form of relief. As I mentioned in the site, probably it takes a Thai to create such a high quality website features specifically on these lovely collective pendants. I received a few e-mails asking about the price of the real TRaja pidta. Now the price is RM50,000 and above. Now its very rare to get a real TRaja pidta even in Kelantan. Most of the TRaja pidtas in the market are fake, which are selling at around a few hundreds to a few thousands ringgit. What is the different between a real and a fake TRaja pidta? The real pidta is made by TRaja himself. The materials used are chanting powder, whan and jangrak(latex) from a type of tree and chanted in a WAI KRU ceremony. The fake is made by unknown person and did not used the above materials and ceremony. The fake is just like a pendant unless it is chanted by archans(gurus)then only it will be effective. My advice is better to get a new one from the temple because it is chanted by the archan in the WAI KRU ceremony. Many forum members asking me if they can get the new TRaja pidta Wat Uttamaram through me.For information I m not an amulet dealers or the agent for Wat Uttamaram.my advice is you ve to get them from the temple.I m writing in the forum is to share my experience and to pay my respect to TRaja,Than Chan and Archan Kuan.I ve been using the Wat Uttamaram amulets for the past 32 years and I experience a lot of blessings in whatever I do. Metta and regards to all.

When i have my amulet on me it remainds me in every day life to be a god person showing compasion to other fellow people and try to help and sheare,in god and in bad times.I want to think that this are the thought behind when a buddhist monk makes a amulet.I dont think that there is a super power in amulets there is only the power in them that comes from a god person that made the amulet and if you charge them whit your every day possitiv life energy and If you live a god life i bet your amulet is ful of pure power and it can make wonders that is the power that you feel and thats what other people see in you. This are just my thoughts for now, still i have seen wery weard things happend when people have a powerful amulet on them so you never know.I came to this earth naked and i go back the same way whit nothing on me.Hopping that i made a small differens for other people.May Buddha bless us all as allways

Dear Bro. Raymond: As Buddhist, whether the amulet is genuine or faked it doesn't matter as long as the amulet brings you happiness, helps to build your confidence and reminds you of the Buddha's teachings. FYI, I have one faked amulet I wore for many years since it so powerful as I came to know that the faked amulet been left in the temple for many years and been blessed by many great monks. So now, you need the second verification of the amulet, powerful or not. This is something one cannot verify without experiencing the amulet or possessed the special powers to verify.

I can still remember one of friends actually bought a special camera that can show your aura to determine the power of the amulet and crystals. Your first photo without wearing the amulet will be snap first followed by subsequent photos wearing one amulet at a time. The outcome showed different brightness of your aura without and with different amulets. The conclusion is if the amulet that one wear showed the brightest aura is the right amulet for the wearer, not necessary whether is genuine or faked. As mentioned, faked amulet can also powerful. I think is okay for one to verify whether the amulet is genuine or faked but you need to explain how you assess the amulet as faked. It will surely bring pain to the owner of faked amulet, especially when one is renting at a very high price. From my own experiences, amulet blessed by Great Buddhist Gurus and for a long time possesed the highest blessings and powers, combined with

1) Dana (Charity) - the act of giving
2) Sila (Morality) - observe Panca Sila(the 5 precepts) well
3) Bhavana - meditation and recitation of suttas, parittas, gathas with right understanding, one would no longer be afraid since you are always be guided by the Triple Gem. Sabbe Satha Sukhi Hontu (May All Beings be Well and Happy) Metta, Stan

Namo Tassa Bhagavatu Arahatu Samma Sambuddhasa (x3)

For the benefits of members of this Forum, LP Dum has confirmed with one of his Penang devotees that he is not the disciple of Tok Raja as claimed in certain websites and newspaper publications. He was perceived as a disciple of Tok Raja by many due to his similar style of making Pidta amulets. He did spent a short period of time at Wat Uttamaram when Tok Raja is still alive but he learned making amulets from other Gurus. I hope my explanation above clears the air abour LP Dum. If any members of the Forum still believe that LP Dum is the disciple of Tok Raja, I would encourage you to speak to LP Dum directly. "The Gift of Truth Excels All Other Gifts" Metta, Stan Thong
