Collection of my Thai Religious Amulets/Pendants - Message Board/Guestbook

Religious Thai Amulets are immensely popular among many Thai locals or even the Chinese that residing in South East Asia - probably most followers never have the chance to worship the religion and hopefully with the little image that we wear on the body can provide some form of relief. As I mentioned in the site, probably it takes a Thai to create such a high quality website features specifically on these lovely collective pendants. As I can never be claimed knowledgeable in this strong thai traditions but since I am a web developer in nature, I create this solely for personal consumption and hope to provide a linkage among all passionate collectors. Some of the opinion presented within the site was entirely personal and I do not wish to influence any decision prior to any potential purchases or disposal. So, this forum is intended to provide a channel for all to make use of it to present your own individual views. Enjoy.

Hello ALL,
I just want to share a real incident of my "Phra Somdej" Buddha, I was in a medicine shop in the morning about 11am on 4th of October 2006 in Shenzhen,China, inside the shop while making my payment at cashier for some medicines a snatch thief pulled my gold chain from behind, the gold chain is hooked with my "Phra Somdej" amulet, at such a fast speed and strength my thick gold chain broke into 2 pieces and was elongated by 30%, I feel big pain on my neck, the blessed part is the chain did break but my "Phra Somdej" buddha stay stick at my chest, the gold chain and my buddha has not been snatch away, the snatch thief run so fast off empty handed. I really see the true power of my Buddha amulet.
This Buddha has been passed down from my father who told me this Buddha is already few huandred years old, and the monk that given my father this Buddha amulet was a high priest that always that in a cave somewhere in Thailand & Malaysia, about 50 years ago. I really see blessings from my piece of buddha all this while.

Hi Eric,

Most shops I know of in Singapore unfortunately are too concern with their own stuff and hence would take kindly to identifying your Phra Somdej. I would suggest putting a picture on the net for those of us who might have seem the amulet before and give you an opinion. You might also want to try the shop at Blk 531 Fook Hai Building. The guy running the shop is rather nice and very knowledgeable.

with metta

Wat Paknam has many series. Please state series and budget. Prices ranges from series (apply to all), condition. Personally, Roon Si (4th batch) worths it (value for $$ as long as it is genuine). But have to be careful, many many ...(fake) out there.
