Collection of my Thai Religious Amulets/Pendants - Message Board/Guestbook

Religious Thai Amulets are immensely popular among many Thai locals or even the Chinese that residing in South East Asia - probably most followers never have the chance to worship the religion and hopefully with the little image that we wear on the body can provide some form of relief. As I mentioned in the site, probably it takes a Thai to create such a high quality website features specifically on these lovely collective pendants. As I can never be claimed knowledgeable in this strong thai traditions but since I am a web developer in nature, I create this solely for personal consumption and hope to provide a linkage among all passionate collectors. hi Charles, thanks for recommending me Fu Lou Shou complex....just did a gold casing for my Khun Paen...satisfied with the craftmanship.

Saw a huge Phra Phom in one of the shops. For people to pray to and make donations. Man I never step inside Fu Lous Shou before but will probably visit it more often now.

That is NICE ! I went to Wat In many years ago, not much changes from your 2006 profile. But the reintroduction of the Soomdet BKprom was a decent surprise !

I have various Buddha images along with Pa Pikanet and Phrat Phom, but I am particularly interested in the value of an image of, forgive me if the spelling is incorrect, Khun Paen. It is around 40-50 years old but nobody seems to know the value only the attraction woman are said to have toward this. Please can you shed some light on this? Thanks, Darren.

Brother Steven, high quality Soomkor (along with the likes of Ponsuphan and Nang Phraya) are very difficult to come by. Prices usually associates with Quality and rarity and hard to define a borderline. Usually we use a value to establish a comfort but unlikely willing to dispose it (good reason for a gold cased item rather than plastic-cased huh, haha...). However, I guess can look for a right person who is willing to pay is another issue. Lastly, how much on it is the third issue. Why don't go Yah00 Photo and let us share your possession? may be other brothers may provide a clue as well.

P.S. strange, earlier I typed "yahoo" found it is a banned keyword for spam, so I change to y00 - I will inform leo on this. Anyone knows when will leo be back in town ? h/p signal downed, so I SMS.

I always thought the demand (gold or silver casings) is there local amulet lovers. Unfortunately, many service centres have reservation over this area. I guess gold spike in prices is the main cause. Hope things will improve in the future. Wat Inrahvihan is a good topic, hope to see the site goes live one day with other excellent resoucres here in this site.
