Collection of my Thai Religious Amulets/Pendants - Message Board/Guestbook
Religious Thai Amulets are immensely popular among many Thai locals or even the Chinese that residing in South East Asia - probably most followers never have the chance to worship the religion and hopefully with the little image that we wear on the body can provide some form of relief. As I mentioned in the site, probably it takes a Thai to create such a high quality website features specifically on these lovely collective pendants. As I can never be claimed knowledgeable in this strong thai traditions but since I am a web developer in nature, I create this solely for personal consumption and hope to provide a linkage among all passionate collectors. Some of the opinion presented within the site was entirely personal and I do not wish to influence any decision prior to any potential purchases or disposal. So, this forum is intended to provide a channel for all to make use of it to present your own individual views. Enjoy.

Dear Kah Chun: Is great to know that you have found happiness with your Phra Pitta. I have been googling for many years to learn more about the background or history of Phra Pitta, of which was to no avail. Perhaps you could help me or members of this forum. Stan

Skipped this MB for quite a while, has been doing quite a lot of traveling lately. I am glad to find new "ACTIVE" maintainers being appointed. It is all right, I can read Rock's comments and replies (good job !). Come to think of it. many Thai, Burmese and even Malaysian amulets owners do not speak a word of English other than their own native lingo, so this issue is not important at all (mine is so-so level..). Like what Leonard said in this site to address this "English":
and he has created a fantastic Malaysian photo website that is well respected throughout the world (I am a Nikon photobug too). Most people would assume everyone speak/write a common language, but even in Europe,Latin America and even Japan or China, majority don't. So, instead of creating a site that only serves a "Harvard or Cambridge graduate" (borrowed from a famous leo's remarks" - very few people will be here then ... Thank You, Mr. Rock for keeping the flames burning for all amulets lovers here ! regards, KT. (I am in Shanghai now, browsing via my Hotel's Internet line). P.S. I read about your trip to China back to KL ??1807. From : Justin (email@example.com)

Mr Foo. I like your new banner at the top. Should have included the Phra Kring and Wat Pak Nam, my favourite-lah. Good to see this website is slowly getting crowdy. Except for the English - Mr Rock is DAMN good in handling issues - I respect that who bothers ? I can digest what he tried to convey to us. Keep it up Mr ROCK !1808. Hi, I came across your site when I was browing for some Buddhist images online. I was nonetheless, been really impressed with everything that you have posted. It's an eye-opening experience everytime I read your site. Ancient Thai Buddhist amulets and pendants deserve more exposure and understanding. I'm turning 22 this year and I've been wearing a Phra Pitta since I was 15. Due to many, many false beliefs/myths and nevertheless, the distinguished shape of Phra Pitta, most people have false and often negative perceptions. I remembered that there was one occasion when I was required to explain to the disciplinary teacher in my high school about my Pitta. I'm currently studying in Australia and not surprisingly, I am required to provide more such explanation - everytime I took off my shirt after a game or at the beach. I totally agree with you in your views nd opinions on Phra Pitta. I've been wearing a Pitta for ages and I felt great. I still have a good temper and tranquility and I do NOT simply engaged in fights. I would really encourage more people to try wearing a Pitta to really 'feel' what Pitta is all about and to squash all those false beliefs. Through all these years, my Pitta has been a faithful companion as I wear it wherever I go and has given me good protection and courage. Lastly, I'm really interested to know more of your views regarding Phra Pitta. I heard that different people have different characteristics and hence, will develop different relationship with various amulets/pendants. Is this true?
