Collection of my Thai Religious Amulets/Pendants - Message Board/Guestbook

Religious Thai Amulets are immensely popular among many Thai locals or even the Chinese that residing in South East Asia - probably most followers never have the chance to worship the religion and hopefully with the little image that we wear on the body can provide some form of relief. As I mentioned in the site, probably it takes a Thai to create such a high quality website features specifically on these lovely collective pendants. As I can never be claimed knowledgeable in this strong thai traditions but since I am a web developer in nature, I create this solely for personal consumption and hope to provide a linkage among all passionate collectors. Some of the opinion presented within the site was entirely personal and I do not wish to influence any decision prior to any potential purchases or disposal. So, this forum is intended to provide a channel for all to make use of it to present your own individual views. Enjoy.

Greetings All: A friend of mine who frequents Thailand once was given a pendant by a man there. He said it was a God (pronounced with a long O) pendant by which the person wearing would keep the soul or remains of someone inside to be protected. Does anyone know what I am speaking of? If so, how is the word spelled or pronounced actually? What would be an English translation? I am trying to find one for purchase. Thank You, Jenna :)

I have recently noticed a message from Taiwan asking for amulet information. I have contacted a few people online and of whom I have met in person. I would like to share some information with fellow Buddhists or amulets wearers.

The first person I would like to recommend is Mr Lek Watruak. A true expert and Buddhist. He is happy to share the right attitude of wearing an amulets and he is also a very knowledgeable Buddhist. He is not afraid to let you know any alternative to expensive amulets. For example, I was looking for a Somdej by Somdej Toh of Wat Rakang. I was prepared to spend a few million dollars on this. After his explanation, my attitude changed and I was happy to receive a LP Nak's somdej. In his website, he values 2500 Leela and Chinnaraj a lot because they were blessed by many monks and they were two big ceremonies in Thailand. After reading his article, I asked for a 2500 Leela from him and this Leela has helped me a lot -- I can feel it... I even dreamt of 25 Leela. You can find his information in external links. His newsletter is http://newsletter.thaiamuletpro.com/

2) The second person is Arjan Jini, who is a university lecturer. She has a store in Ebay http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZluangpu or www.billionmore.com

She collects those amulets directly from temples herself, together with her friend Kim and Tip. Her amulets' price are cheaper. She also donates part of the profits to temples. I really admire her efforts in helping others -- she went to North of Thailand for me to get an amulet. You can pay her via online paypal and she can ship it for you.

I hope this helps. For those who live in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand etc, you can try Purt and other experts listed in this websites. My friends all reported very positive feedbacks.
