Collection of my Thai Religious Amulets/Pendants - Message Board/Guestbook

Religious Thai Amulets are immensely popular among many Thai locals or even the Chinese that residing in South East Asia - probably most followers never have the chance to worship the religion and hopefully with the little image that we wear on the body can provide some form of relief. As I mentioned in the site, probably it takes a Thai to create such a high quality website features specifically on these lovely collective pendants. As I can never be claimed knowledgeable in this strong thai traditions but since I am a web developer in nature, I create this solely for personal consumption and hope to provide a linkage among all passionate collectors. I guess it means an religious Buddhist image is still a representation of the religious form...it is the belief and not so much with what is the variation.

Nang Phraya not for men ? No. This sounds like when you see a woamn wearing a Soomdej and tells her that is wrong, ahah ? I agree with the earlier input post "a Phra is a Phra" - it is only the we that bermatimati separates them with a boundary. I don't see any reasons why a nang Phraya can't be used by a man. Basically, the image form signifies ”power“, ”wealth“, smoothness in business and prosperity but most of all - it projects a sense of "高贵的气质“ for the believer (something that women favours more than men..),of course, it does other than serving the wearer with basic form in protection and blessing.

Nang praya is like Soomdej to men. Thai wowen favourite image. But a Phra is a Phra, so it doesnt really matters. The site creator has a section on his and I guess he uses that image as well http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/leofoo/Thai-amulets/leofoo/htmls/index.htm
