Religious Thai Amulets are immensely popular among many Thai locals or even the Chinese that residing in South East Asia - probably most followers never have the chance to worship the religion and hopefully with the little image that we wear on the body can provide some form of relief. As I mentioned in the site, probably it takes a Thai to create such a high quality website features specifically on these lovely collective pendants. As I can never be claimed knowledgeable in this strong thai traditions but since I am a web developer in nature, I create this solely for personal consumption and hope to provide a linkage among all passionate collectors. Some of the opinion presented within the site was entirely personal and I do not wish to influence any decision prior to any potential purchases or disposal. So, this forum is intended to provide a channel for all to make use of it to present your own individual views. Enjoy.

พระปิดตาเพชรทักษิณหรือพระปิดตาหลวงพ่อหมวก วัดไพโรจน์ประชาราม
หรือที่ชาวอำเภอรือเสาะเรียกกันติดปากว่าวัดตีนนา นับว่าเป็นพระเครื่องอีกองค์
ที่โด่งดังไปทั่วทุกสารทิศ ด้วยเหตุที่ว่ามีประสบการณ์ทางด้านมหาอุต เหนียว
แคล้วคลาด ปลอดภัย และ มักจะมีรางบอกเหตุร้าย ก่อนที่จะเกิดเรื่องขึ้นจริงๆ
พระเกจิอาจารย์ที่สร้างสรรค์พระปิดตาองค์นี้เป็นทั้งศิษย์เอกและเป็นทั้งหลาน
ของหลวงพ่อครน วัดอุตตมาราม(บางแซะ) รัฐกลันตัน มาเลเซีย โดยได้รับการ
อบรมเลี้ยงดู สั่งสอนสรรพวิชา และศึกษาตำราการสร้างพระปิดตาโดยตรงมา
จากหลวงพ่อครน หลังจากหลวงพ่อครนมรณภาพ ท่านก็ได้เดินทางมาอาศัย
อยู่ในอำเภอศรีสาคร และทำมาหากินตามประสาชาวบ้านปกติ แต่อยู่ๆ มาก็ได้
มีโจรเข้ามาปล้นแต่ก็ไม่สามารถทำอันตรายท่านได้ นานวันเข้าท่านก็เกิดเบื่อ
หน่ายชีวิตทางโลกขึ้นมา ก็ได้เข้าทำการอุปสมบทโดยท่านพระครูไพโรจน์อีก
ครั้งหนึ่งหลังจากที่ได้บวชเรียนกับหลวงพ่อครนมาแล้ว และ ได้จำพรรษาอยู่
ที่วัดตีนนาตลอดมา จนกระทั่งวันหนึ่ง หลังจากที่ท่านได้เก็บรวบรวมมวลสาร
ในการสร้างพระปิดตาครบ ท่านก็ได้เริ่มสร้างพระปิดตาขึ้นมา โดยแรกๆได้
ได้แจกจ่ายแก่ชาวบ้านบริเวณวัดตีนนา และภายหลังได้มอบให้กับหัวหน้า อส.
อาสาสมัครรักษาดินแดนโดยสมัยก่อนมีเหตุการณ์โจรปล้นกันอย่างชุกชุมมาก
และอส.ท่านนี้ก็ได้รับประสบการณ์มาแล้วก็ได้พาลูกน้องไปรับพระจากหลวง

Dear Steven, Soomdej Toh (1788- 1872; B.E. 2331-2415), no matter how you can imagine Soomdej Toh can make amulet when he was born, it only makes up 220 years old (The master left us in approx. 130 years ago). So, the 200-300 years Soomdej Toh's amulet couldn't be existed in real life. I hope some of our brothers here must also try not to mislead by amulet traders by saying good, old amulets such as Khun Paen with background of 400-500 years old as the real figure has not been born yet. Hi.. anybody knows what is the value ( in Singapore Dollars )for Than Chan Pidtha and Tok Raja medallion 2524 (Gold, Silver and bronze). The pidta is dated back in 1970' something given by Ah Kung and believed mixed with Tok Raja's Wann.
