Collection of my Thai Religious Amulets/Pendants - Message Board/Guestbook

Religious Thai Amulets are immensely popular among many Thai locals or even the Chinese that residing in South East Asia - probably most followers never have the chance to worship the religion and hopefully with the little image that we wear on the body can provide some form of relief. As I mentioned in the site, probably it takes a Thai to create such a high quality website features specifically on these lovely collective pendants. As I can never be claimed knowledgeable in this strong thai traditions but since I am a web developer in nature, I create this solely for personal consumption and hope to provide a linkage among all passionate collectors. Some of the opinion presented within the site was entirely personal and I do not wish to influence any decision prior to any potential purchases or disposal. I have a phra kring which is different from the rest. I got it after offering a donation to a temple via a forum.

Can I check if this Phra Kring is suitable for me to give my parents as a gift for blessing?

You may refer to the URL attached.
The hand position is like an inverse BHUMISPARSA Mudra
Normally the left hand is on the lap and the right hand is point to the ground.

But my Phra Kring has the right hand on the lap and the left hand pointing to the ground.

Please advice
Thank you and best regards
Alex See

I have a thai Buddha amulet (Pendant) which I have been advised is old and valuable, I have tried to have it appraised in Canada but the appraisers tell me that these are quite common and have little value. Are there Thai appraisers who could give me a value?

I have found an amulet stay long time inside car, hot place on dashboard. A Soomdej but it changed from heat. Resin came out, very hard pearls of resin on surface. I lie to send picture so someone can tell if this is old or fake but it was made to look old. Friend who knows nothing say not valuable but I rather hear from people who have understanding and experience. How can I add picture here to the message?

Thank You and Best Wishes
